    I don't care one wit whether your videos are slick and well produced or just straight off the camera. It is what you are saying and demonstrating that is priceless. Please please please make more!
    Also, is there any way I can get on a waiting list to buy one of your miniature tools?

    Could you please explain what you were doing to the throat opening for those of us who are clueless? What was the point of curving the opening with the sandpaper? Thanks!

    Superb Paul, nice pace, key steps shown without the usual jabber that slows things down. Picked up several new tricks and I've been making tools and miniatures for years, especially the gullets for the slitting saw in wood, makes me feel dumb for not doing this years ago.. Thanks for sharing your inside knowledge.

    First video or not Paul it came out well. And nice tip on using double sided tape on some tool steel plate when using those rotary planers when the part's not held in a vise. Long videos are fine at least with me, YT has that pause feature and your own history so it's easy to pick up any point stopped at if you didn't have time to watch a full video of anyway.

    Most TH-cam creators wish that their first video was this good. They also wish their work was this good. Just keep the videos coming as you comfortably can, and share your wealth of knowledge with us. You can't take it with you, and you cannot post videos from where you and all of us will be going someday. We all have to share our skills while we are above the lawn.

    Are there any measurements posted anywhere for this (angles used and so on?). I couldn’t find anything on “chair scrape’ and I would like to try to make one. Thanks

    • @paulhamler8315
      @paulhamler8315  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      not that I'm aware of . the blade is usually always 90 degrees or vertical unlike a spoke shave. I'd suggest buying an antique scrape and copy or modify it using size and scale , I have over 75 user made scrapes and each one has it's own custom made spin that the maker applied. Tom Lamonds book on spoke shaves has several examples of scrapers included with some references to rough dimensions.
