Crispin's design among the brothers is honestly the most plain but then he's just really into clowns, and that resonates with me
I feel that's reserved for Tim & Merlin, though he'd be ranked right behind them for most plain.
and as much as I do find the clown love weird, I think it's adorable sometimes, especially with his episode

The Wizard family has only one bathroom, right? It seems like it'd be the busiest room in the house.
Him being a love interest honestly makes sense with him as a mechanic.
Though the better question is at what point did he seriously consider picking up trade as a mechanic. There's no clear point if he did so after circus apprenticeship or after moving back to the family.
But it is certain Crispin has a clean divide fron the rest of the siblings because of that one birthday that has yet to heal.
@@Aereto I haven’t finished the series yet, but I assume he was the mechanic during his time at the circus. This probably goes into child labor territory but I’m thinking since he was small (being a child in the circus), he can easily reach and fix clown cars (known for being small). Thus, he developed an interest in both clowns and being a mechanic. He did have a picture back when he was in the circus where he was wearing overalls and holding a shovel, suggesting he was doing more manual labor stuff.

I personally think crispin broke up with Bee after he found out she was a robot/android/cyborg so maybe he picked up the trade after that? but then a gain it seems like he might have been a mechanic for longer than that considering he works on trains, and the cars of the people on the island.

And there was tension between them for majority of "two clown noses". Crispin literally shows romantic interest in one of the Bees that came out of Bee at the end. also the crispin knowing she is a robot thing is a just a theory...

From all the siblings, I’m glad they made Crispin the love interest for Bee and retcon the idea with Deckard! Sometimes, a boy and a girl are just friends and don’t have to be anything more
I have incrediblyixed feelings since I loved Deckard a lot but now I'm also getting attached to Crispin.
I do too Considering they kind of went more with the idea that Bee is older than Deckard by a bit. Physically she’s 22 but she says she’s “very old” herself. Crispin is older than Howell who is 30 as well putting him at at least 31. Just like Bee this would mean he’s older than he looks.

@@TheBunnyrum He actually isn’t. He’s confirmed to be older than Howell who turns 30 in season 2. Crispin came back at 22 but he’s older than that by quite a bit. I’ve since found an official post on the ages and according to creator Natasha Allegri the order of the wizard family from oldest to youngest is Merlin (40), Weasley (39), Crispin (38), Howell (30), Tim (27), and Cass and Deckard who are twins (26).
Crispin's back story why he's attached to clowns was actually sad, but how Cas told it made it otherwise.

I feel like cas did understand that his backstory is sensitive, but (as shown in other episodes and in the original series) she has problems with managing how she handles certain topics and wording certain things
Yeah... it might not be obvious but deep inside, everyone ultimately loves each other. On episode 13, after Crispin's birthday, the family organized a surprise party for the diva Howell this time. And everyone tried to give him gifts to impress him. Howell was reluctant (of course) but the family's efforts were very nice and touching.
Also, I think Crispin's reaction to his family forgetting his birthday (a day where we somehow expect people to make us feel special) was reasonable, considering he was just a child. Though 10 years in circus was extreme. I love how chill the atmosphere of Bee and Puppycat is, nonetheless. It's not hard to watch

He's my favorite character. Anyone who runs away to join the circus as a kid because his family forgot his birthday and comes out the other side like this deserves to be favored.
I really like how the reboot gave the brothers more character, i get the original was more for world building and *shipping bee and deckard* but this kinda gave everyone a spot to shine and show interests (even if they had to retcon cas and deck’s stories a bit)

Well they did butcher up the build-up and climactic reveal that Bee was a Andriod/Humanoid. That was a big boo.
@liver joint It's a reboot. Even the original advertising for it 4 years ago said it was a "new show". It got the Full metal alchemist: brotherhood treatment. Try treating it as such. 😊 The first three episodes are a recap to catch new watchers up to the new content but like full metal they spedran it because it was already done better in the original.
I love the original too but the new series doesn't ruin the original for me and it does still exist on TH-cam. I just hope more seasons of lazy in space doesn't get the axe by netflix, because I'd love to see even more Bee and Puppycat. I'm sure the rest of the community would too.
well they can't exactly put the old episodes on Netflix. That would cause a bigger backlash, I guess. And new watchers can't exactly know by themselves where to watch the old episodes. I swear this fandom can't be grateful we even have a new season at all, considering how long it took.
It was just jarring and felt rushed when you have already watched the first season. I obviously still am happy it's on netflix

I love how in his last scene speaking at the beach the real Bee is just laying there with an obvious hole in her stomach but all he can think is to ask her counterparts out on a date!! This guy I swear!! He is smitten after their last date!! Also I do feel a lot for Crispin, he’s basically like the black sheep of the family, it’s hard to hangout with him because they don’t know much about him, but all he wants is to be appreciated and be given the time of day like how Bee took him out for the day just because she wanted to not because she had an obligation, that’s why this one date changed him. I hope we get to some development from these two in the future and how Deckard will fit into this oooooohhhhhh I’m getting excited thinking about it but at the end of the day this show ain’t no romance even the only canon couple isn’t romantic much lol.
Also I read on tumblr that him and Bee lived together for some time before the current time of the show and someone said they had broken up (like a couple way) but they can still hang out, I don’t think they dated like at all before this I don’t know what they were on but Crispin is 38 in the show which I thought he was like 22, you know how ran away at the age of twelve and was gone for ten years so I guess the proposition that him and bee lived together at some point doesn’t seem off since he was at her place gathering his belongings to go back and live with his family, but dating before the show? No. Idk you all tell me.
