- In yesterdays Vancouver Canucks vs Detroit Red Wings game, there was a lengthy delay to start the 3rd after Ethan Bear went into the boards hard. During that delay, we got another example of just how awesome hockey is! The LEGEND of George, was born on the Little Caesars Arena Jumbotron. The Red Wings produced the the cheer the kid, boo everyone else with Canucks fans in attendance and it just made for such a wholesome moment that George can remember for the rest of his life. So cool to see. As for the game, the Red Wings put on a convincing effort with multiple goals from both Jonatan Berggren and Captain Dylan Larkin. It was a good game so watch along as I cover todays NHL hockey highlight video!

I was at this game, and I took my twins to see it so it was their first game at LCA. We laughed at asses off at the reaction to George and got to give him fist bumps outside the arena. Little dude is just awesome but totally shy and overwhelmed!
Video is funny sure but it's sad to hear he's shy. He should feel at his most free at this age.
I was also at this game! Loved how they gave George the honorary star of the game. Very nice finish to a great day game.
@@alejandroramirez4470 Shyness is partially genetic. As a culture, we should just accept that some people feel that way, and we shouldn't force them to be extroverted if that stresses them out.
@BassByTheBay I don't really know all the bio or psychological details but I think shyness is a factor of anxiety and worsens introversion. You don't have to have anxiety for introversion though. I think it's nurture vs nature sometimes. My parents sometimes protected me too much and warned me about strangers or didn't want me to go to any classmates' homes. I didn't feel secure around many school peers as a teen. I've made few more friends now through jobs and by my choice to fight anxiety. I still keep to myself mostly but don't fear walking outside or going places alone.

Shyness is like many personality traits in that people have certain genetic components which make them predisposed to certain behaviors. Shyness is just another way to be. Plenty of shy people are perfectly happy. I usually enjoy the company of shy people, and I tend to find boisterous people annoying.
As long as George is happy, his shyness isn't a problem.

I don't care too much for hockey but I have to say shout out to the Vancouver, Detroit fans as well as the staff/camera man for creating a wholesome moment for us all but especially for this Young Man. Giving us all dopamine hits after seeing George just taking it all in. This video is a win for everyone. Humanity at its best.

The Jumbotron at Little Caesars is insane.
I’d rather have the Joe back. Or at least a recreation of the design but modernized.
LCA feels corporate and the design of the seating is flat out awful for fans. They extended the lower bowl way up (increase revenue with more of the costly lower bowl seats of course). Then stacked the corporate suits on top of that. Then finally the upper bowl.
They made the upper bowl so high and steep, it’s legitimately scary for a lot of fans. I used to go to 5-6 games a year at the Joe. Now, I drive 30 minutes to see the Toledo Walleye (ECHL) and it’s a blast. Huntington center was built with the fans in mind.

@@chevelle1 I imagine that the upper bowl is so steep because of how much room they had to work with. The Joe had a lot more real estate so they could make it not as steep, whereas here the arena is just on a block on Woodward
