      @Youtube_Stole_My_Handle_Too 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jakob doesn't call it modesty, but to be in close contact with reality. Jakob hates running but loves winning. Winning isn't everything, but the only thing. Only one person can win, but thousands dream about being the one. This makes it really hard - the hardest. This is the reality and he is fully aware of it. If you draw anything from this interview, draw this.

    These elite distance runners are on the knife's edge day after day. It's a neverending challenge of maintaining, improving all while avoiding burnout / illness / injury.
    It really is a science, finding just the right balance of training, nutrition, rest & recovery. I have so much respect for what these athletes put themselves through. You better believe it is not easy.
    Excellent interview!

    The first Olympic medal was the start of the really start of a a career with several world records ahead. He is already the world's best all - round runner with being the only one in the world with times such as 3.30 in the 1500 meters, under 7.30 in the 3000 meters and under 12.50 in the 5000 meters, and many other indoor and outdoor achievements that are unique, many world records as youth runners. if there is anyone who can point to better merits, then tell me!
    But it will be a little different from what many people think, because Jakob is actually a better long-distance runner, but he will still rule at 1500 meters for a few years, I would be extremely surprised if he sets world records at 1500 meters or a Mile run. But he is certainly first and foremost looking for world records of 3,000 meters, 5,000 meters and possibly 10,000 meters

      Threshold training involves finding the maximum speed you can run without lactic acid building up to the point where you can no longer continue the pace. Doing this over time will increase your threshold pace as your body/muscles adapt to it. Thus also serves to increase your VO2 max, meaning the amount of oxygen your body can absorb process and burn.
