I’m an older Black American man who has experienced what Rico is trying to say but the women don’t want to listen to him…. When I was in high school, the girls my age already wanted an older man…. When I was in college the women wanted an older man then too…When I was in my 20’s, 30’s, some of the women still wanted an older man!!!!! And I mean like 10 years or more older who had more to offer them financially….
This is just hypocrital BS, I remember my Freshmen Year in High School so clearly - because all the Girls I was friends with suddenly started dating upper classmen and started getting knocked up left and right! I remember one girl was dating a guy that was 22yrs old and wasn't even in our high school. She bragged to me that she was dating a Grown Man and she was 16yrs old, she continued to say that she only dates real men who has his own Car and Apartment. She thought that she was so grown, because she was dating an Older Man.
By Senior Year, she was pregnant & dropped out!

No one really talks about how young women seek us older men out. A young lady I dated recently almost exclusively dated older men. I was 14 years her senior and she’s in her early 20s. She doesn’t necessarily date for money and it never felt like a focus of hers. When asked she stated that dating older men the experience tended to be more straight forward and pleasant

I find this show very offensive. I married a 23 year old and I am 38. She approached me, she obsessed over me admittedly, I have kids from a prior marriage. Long story short, I am no creep as I did not go out looking for this. I told her, ironically, I wanted an older woman with kids. This did not stop her.

It’s funny we talking about this because when girls are young they don’t want guys they age. They want the older guys. Things always work themselves out. I remember being in junior high and the girls only talk to us in school. Once school was out we wasn’t allowed to talk to them because the wanted the guys on the block.

I think part of the disconnect is that women and men generally value different things in a partner. Women value life experience while men usually value a level of compliance so these conversations usually leave both parties trying to project the perspective on the other.
