- Watercolor painting has existed since ancient times, when cavemen ground up charcoal, mixed it with water, and painted on the walls of their caves.
Luckily, we've made some progress since then!
Today's watercolors are luminous, transparent, glowing. From cavemen to explorers to the U.S. Congress, its history is long, varied, and fascinating.
I hope you find this brief history enjoyable, educational, and inspiring!
Excellent educational video thank you

The living masters of watercolors like joseph zvuchvich and marcos beccari are amazing
Thank you so much! I agree about the living masters, there are so many it's hard to aquaint oneself with all of them! Thank you for sharing those names!

Ms Dena Ackerman,
Thank you for the work you put into this presentation. An excellent short history. I enjoyed it very much. I am glad you are doing fine. I can't reach anyone on LinkedIn anymore by their choice. I miss my regular contacts.
I continue to do fine, be happy, and do good things daily to help others.
