You will be always remembered because of this control enter. It's such a breeze this control enter. I used to type same date or other text in many cells and copy and paste text from previous cells on cells down, and my co-workers did the same thing, you even hear them doing the same sound control comma plus enter or copy and paste on so many cells down. With control enter, not anymore this issue.
Hi Gasper. Great video! For years, I didn't know these CTRL-ENTER tricks. Now I don't go a day without using them. Definitely a must first lesson for any new user to unlock some of the power of EXCEL. Thanks for sharing :)) Thumbs up!!
Hi Gasper. Thank you so much for your help you have a great channel here. will it be possible for the next videos to be able to download the spreadsheet to follow along.
Pushing ctrl+enter in the search window would block the search, please let me know how to unblock it or what is happening in this moment and how can I get out of it.
@@ExcelOlympics not sure if is name box is just the search pop-up window and instead of pushing enter to search you push ctrl+enter and everything gets frozen you cannot search for anything else anymore
Hi, great video! I have a question about what you do in 4:25. What if I don't want to duplicate the date downwards, but I want the date to continue going further to 6/1/2021, 7/1/2021 and so on.
@@ExcelOlympics You are right. Need to keep learning as Excel become more and more complex and powerful. I'm grateful because lots of Excel MVP share their knowledge, like yourself. Subscribed and bell button ON!
I just discovered your channel and i love it! Thank you for your hard work. I am now subscribed and would like to buy the book but I can’t find the link.
Sure thing but then I have no way of filling down by rows. I find the Enter functionality great but sometimes I need a Ctrl+Enter functionality. It is important to have both in Excel. Thanks for mentioning the setting regardless. I think it will definitely benefit some viewers/readers.
It’s great always learning new tips and tricks to improve efficiency and to save time. Wow! THANK YOU!
You are right Tom. And this is one of the best to learn 😀

Hi Mng. Those words mean a lot! I am currently building a subpage that will enable me to share files for all videos.
Pushing ctrl+enter in the search window would block the search, please let me know how to unblock it or what is happening in this moment and how can I get out of it.
Could you please elaborate. Do you mean the Name Box?

In that case you either copy down with double click or using Home/Fill/Series
@@ExcelOlympics Thanks! :) Home/Fill/Series what just what I was looking for!
Why am I just learning this now? :o I'm just going to throw away my mouse.
No need for such drastic measures Vi 😀. But it just might be that your mouse will get a lot more time off 😀.
Trick at 9:00 is cool!! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for those kind words El. Always keep discovering, always keep learning.

File>Options>Advanced>Editing options> _After pressing Enter, move selection_ [deselect]
will prevent the selector from moving when you press Enter.
