He randomly recalled his grandfather's WWII dog tag being in the bottom of the ocean. So he jumps in the water and retrieves it in a about a minute because he knew the precise location the dog tag is in shiny and in perfect condition. Tim Heidecker is my all time favorite comedian.
Always the same level of performance with Greg - just sheer, burning passion and energy for every second of a scene. I’d argue he might be even more deserving of an Oscar than Tim.

That American flag blood splatter on the wall behind the terrorist was such a nice touch. I love how he incorporates subtle imagery which only true movie buffs will notice. Master of his craft.
Deckerheads know subtlety is a key component of the series. It links in perfectly with Kingston. It's like little codes throughout the show to be broken. Some non Deckerheads might have noticed that after Decker's fight with (SPOILER) Lenoi Arnold, his blood spelled our "ARNOLD." Easy to miss, but a real treasure to see on screen.

Also around 7 mins in, during the kareoke, the girl's head dissappears as the screen is super imposed. Its this kind of fresh film making we need. They know the content is so good that no one cares about her head being visible. We know she has a head. That's enough.
What amazes me is how the special effects look so crisp and realistic after all these years, while many of these newer so-called "movies" have not lasted the test of time, if you will.

I got laid off while on the vacation I mentioned here, but Arnold's Bar made it all worthwhile.

its all about the writing..take notes scriptwriters...this how it should be done
I love the subtle humor of filming on Oahu and then constantly confusing it in Amos and dialogue with every other Hawaiian Island.
Watching this for the first time on its own was a lot of fun. Watching it again after watching On Cinema is transcendent
