My first SWK was an 84 mm tinker. It was a gift from my dad for my 10th birthday. I still have it and I just turned 72. Love that size and it’s a great find. Enjoy it!
VERY cool Tinker. My very first SAK (1971 ish) had the squared shaft phillips with a file on one side that I mostly used for strike-anywhere matches. It also had a bail. Very similar to today's Fieldmaster configuration. I was the envy of the neighborhood kids with that knife.
I just got in a few SAK's. I am having fun learning about them and I am truly amazed at how many variants there are to them. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
@@ThriftyKaniffy I think the small Tinker was the first model MacGyver used. There's a comprehensive list somewhere online on every SAK model he used and the episode he used it 😆
A beautiful vintage Victorinox. Excellent review. Thanks for the knowledge. God knows I need it. It’s hell being a plebe in the SAK army! 👍🤣🤣 Cheers, RW
The tinker small is my favorite edc tool. I own a few and have given them as gifts. I also like the the Spartan Lite, the Fieldmaster, and the Huntsman Lite.
I was looking at your swiss army knife playlist and ran across your first collection video. I remember watching it when you first posted it. You were saying the four in the collection were all the swiss army knives you needed in your knife collection ? looks like you added a few since then 😀 Maybe it’s time for another collection video.

I really thought I was done and then caught the bug! Yea that'd be a huge video, I would have to break it down in categories now. Thanks, Hitch.
