Just a sidenote the UK artists learnt a lot from The USA and we have our own history of being ripped off by big labels from the garage and grime and jungle era in the UK. Chris for murder, Ben 4 financial type crime Chris went down in 2012 when Dave was 13, way before his track, so i think it's possibly about Ben, although i though he went to prison when Dave was ~16, not sure now.
