I hope next season she gets the help she needs and finds someone she deserves. Someone who really sees her, who supports her and appreciates her. Who reminds her that she is worthy of being loved by her friends, her family, her partner and most of all by herself.
Watching her closely through the 2 seasons I have to tell: she’s the portrait of the type of human and friend who always puts others infront of herself, never tells her struggles to her friends and tries to solve it herself first. Then when she realizes she needs help from them and support she reveals her hurtings and then she is the one that ends up being the selfish one to her friends. She is the one who cares about her friends’ well being the most and even when she has very big problems she’s there for those who she cares about the most. She is the most underrated character and the best of a friend to the girls

Marcus is real depressed but have medicine and a family who cares and see it. But Abby… alone, no one cares no one sees it no family member cares, she is the one I have a feeling about that who could possibly commit suicide….or at least try to
Ginny has had a toxic relationship with her mother since forever and Zion wasn't there for her either - yes she finally started going to therapy and she acknowledged her issues with self harm but it's only recently that she started getting the help she needs and got better, I don't think her problems should be dismissed or minimized just because she has a good support system; both her and Abby (and Marcus) deserve validation for all their problems and they're kinda on the same level with what they're going through, I mean Abby herself even acknowledged that too when Ginny was the only she called to tell her about her dad's new girlfriend because like she said, both come from broken homes so she was the only one who would understand her.

She displays teenage life perfectly. Everybody usually hates her and people like her but no, it’s normal. She’s a teenager and she’s going through a lot of stuff, even with her family and especially her friends. Tbh Abby is a lot of teenage girls high school experience more than any other girl on the show, ideally we want to just have chill boyfriends like Norah’s but sadly men preying on our insecurities and poor body image or low self esteem & sense of self, saying horrible things like “whale legs” makes us seek love or validation from the wrong places
In my opinion, Abby is the most heartbroken character after Georgia in the show. Her parents divorced and her father was dating with someone else. And she only had her friends who didn’t treat her the way she deserved. They ignored her, didn’t help her when she needed help. Ginny was also wrong in the scene where she told Abby that she thinks only about herself, that it is not only about her. But this was actually the first time Abby revealed to Ginny how she felt. And she felt alone and sad, because there weren’t there for her and she was dealing with bad stuff. Of course, l know Abby wasn’t always right and she made mistakes too, but that happened because she didn’t have anyone to teach her what it is wrong or right, to support her, to really care about her, respect her, understand her, make her feel well. I hope in third season to treat her better and Abby to say how she truly feels and this time to have a scene where it will be a conversation with Abby, Ginny, Norah and Max.
I think Abby is the strongest character in the whole series. She deserves so much more and also someone she really can talk to. I hope she will find her own true happiness❤
Body disorder is the most difficult disorder you could have even as a female because we overthink so much but she’s perfect the way she is.She’s a beautiful human being. I know it’s part of the character, But sometimes we should all accept how we look and how we are.✨💙💙💙

I don't get why she was so hated in the first season when she was the best out of all the teenagers. She's the only one who appreciated Georgia throwing that party for all of them, she tried to help Austin by getting him a therapy appointment, she supported Max the most throughout her breakup, she told Ginny to keep quiet about her and Marcus so Max wouldn't be even more upset, she's the only one who actually acknowledged Ginny when the girls weren't talking to her at the end of s1, tried to make peace with Max and made her that huge birthday banner. Yeah she had flaws, but she always put her friends before herself, but none of them care about her enough and they let her get treated like shit. She needs way more attention next season. Easily the best character in the whole show

As someone with an ED it’s because he is being used validation. Since he makes many of the comments she wants to keep him because it will make her get further and further from recovery
I don't think she actually likes him he just distracts her from what she should be doing to get better, I mean she has body image issues right and possibly an ED (I'm saying possibly because I don't remember if they ever addressed/hinted at that in the first season) so she should acknowledge these and get help but Press is just ''the easy way out'' like instead of doing the real hard work of working on herself and healing, she just finds it much more convenient to drown these thoughts by messing around with someone who doesn't care about her enough to help her or even call her out on it. I mean we all see how he treats her, calling her ''whale legs'' and shamelessly showing her that their little make out sessions don't mean anything to him, he doesn't even value her as a friend.. tbh I don't like Abby either but she definitely deserves waaayy better than Press and she also deserves to get the help she needs for her problems!
