There was me using Traktor to record songs at set BPMs and then bring the wavs into the multitrack.

Hi Mike. I’ve tried using beat edit but it keeps putting the beat markers in the wrong places on every track. So when doing mixes it sounds terrible. Any advice? Any chance of more videos using beat edit?

Hey man! Just got Audition and I'm trying to do song mashups, almost like remixes. So say I want to put some of the specific vocals of Rihanna's Work onto the instrumentals of Sean Paul's Like Glue track..I watched your video on how to isolate the vocals but it's still not sounding right. Think you could do a video on that? I wanna make mashups like DJ Danny D (Toronto based, 103.5 radio station)!! Thanks in advance!

To make mashups, certainly of broadcast quality, you'll need the stems of the songs that you want to use so you can have acapella and instrumental at the highest quality.

This would have been the latest version at the time. Worth checking your Creative Cloud app to see if there's any updates available
@@MikeRussell i got told that there is two different extensions of the BeatEdit? One for adobe premiere and one for adobe audition...i guess that ive tried to install the one for adobe premiere lol. Thanks for the reply =)

On the latest version of audition the plug-in isn’t working and Adobe support cannot help with third party plugins sadly - Mathias has been a great help but cannot get it to load tracks and create markers
That's a shame. Hopefully when the plugin is updated it will support Audition CC2021
@@MikeRussell Yes - so looking forward - Mathias has been great, i need to use it for a mix show edit - something other than the usual sweepers
I like it. Only thing I would change is to overlay the tracks more to allow track 2 more time to fade out while track 3 fades in, that way it's not so abrupt, in addition to 3 into 4. Nice work though, I appreciate it. Will be using this!

HI Mike! This is all new to me. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, because it seems s SO SIMPLE in your Tutorial. But, when I Select "Load Music" in BeatEdit after I have two tracks loaded into Audition...nothing happens! HELP!!!
FYI: There is a Blue Box just under "Beat Edit" that reads:

Trial Version License...
FYI: I did not purchase a "Trial Version"...I paid my $99

First things first, if you paid for a full version I'd look at the installation and licensing to ensure you've got the full version installed and full functionality

Will this work with Audition CS6?
Hi Patrick, unfortunately Audition CS6 does not have the extension API, yet, that is needed to run extensions like BeatEdit. You need Adobe Audition CC 2018 or newer to use BeatEdit.
Well worth making the update if you can Patrick to the Creative Cloud suite. So many additions have come to Audition since CS6

thanks but I'm not paying $100 for a feature that audition should, in my opinion, have already
Audition can beat mix if you know how to do it, this just makes that a little easier
so you are not able to do this unless you get that software installed, and it cost $100
You can do it manually within Audition but this software makes the whole process more automated, more accurate and speedier.
I would like these edits without the commentary to hear at the club 100%
You can download the tunes from Lickd to use in your own videos and you'll see here how to chop them down to these edits
Super annoying how the google results are full of videos like this trying to sell other products instead of showing how to do it with Adobe
This is a simple method to beatmix within Audition
More annoying than super annoying are people who bitch about free videos on TH-cam that take time and effort to put together which you are not obliged to watch. Stop whinging.
Trivia: Did you know that you could play Pong in what eventually became Adobe Audition?
A little disappointing that in order to do this you have to spend 100 freakin dollars... just want to make a mix man.
I understand your frustration there are also free alternatives like Audacity that can achieve similar results for beat matching.

I understand your situation. Exploring free or low-cost alternatives, like open-source plugins, can be a great way or simply working with the tempo timeline in Audition.
