      @@TheContouredChemist thanks Sarah! I recently bought the milk makeup primer for oily skin (it's in a black tube not the green one). It says it has silica in it. Is that the same as silicone? It doesn't feel silicone-y to me and I find works really well under the makeup.

    Hey Sarah, Yahhhh, a video on contouring, thank you for tip on using the small end of the detail brush for cheek contouring. It has helped me place and blend my contour better. You're the best!!!!!!!!! Hugs ,Lori

    My problem is getting excited about learning how to apply all of it and being SO impressed with myself, snap a selfie, send to you. After sending it I see that I had completely forgotten the contour and the very top of my forehead it was noticeable in the selfie. Oh boy - Yep, I did that. Fun times laughing at myself. Sticky note reminder of steps is now on compact. Thank goodness it was an at-home day and practice application. No one else saw it but you, Sarah. The rest of my face looked FABulous... xo

    Good information. Honestly, I've tried contouring before with other products and never felt comfortable with the way it looked. Seemed like it made me look dirty in places. The Seint products and your blending tips make all the difference.

    This was a great video! I have noticed my contour (and my lip/cheek) looks really good when I first apply, and it’s like Houdini, because by the time I do my eye shadow and mascara, I look at my face and see almost zero color or product!!! I’m like, whaaaat!?!? So I am assuming my skin care prep contains silicone somewhere, I’m going to read the ingredients and be a detective today. Thank you Sarah!

    This is so incredibly helpful! I’ve been guilty of overblending for sure! And if you ever use a sunscreen or setting spray with silicones, it will be obvious. My makeup literally slid off of my face!

    Love the tips! My problem, features are pointy so contour can make me look more harsh. I've been lightening my natural cheek shadow and adding bright color to apples of cheeks to soften.

    What shade is recommended for brown age spots on medium light skin?

  • @jenniferrichter2482
    @jenniferrichter2482 ปีที่แล้ว

    I hope this isn't a dumb question but since light brings forth and dark recedes...would adding your brightening shade under or around your contour make your cheek bone "pop" more?

    • @TheContouredChemist
      @TheContouredChemist  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, adding your main or brightener shade under your contour along the jawline like I showed will give you a more defined contour!

    So my main shade is candlelight but have to mix with my highlight moonlit or im too yellow. I have tried every contour under the sun and it always pulls super warm on me.Almost yellow or red or orange . To the point of getting super frustrated need help the artist. I have just told me to try shadow. It's not bad, but sometimes I feel like it looks a little green. I have tried mixing shadow with cola and it's a very pretty color i'm just not sure what to do help

      @@amberpushak1479 you most likely need a corrector under your main and a different application method. I see this happen all the time. I’d be happy to match you and help you troubleshoot but I’d have to see in order to help. Here is my color match request:

    How do I keep my halo to stay on longer under your eyes ?

    • @TheRKayw
      @TheRKayw ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have you tried setting spray on a small detail brush, and pat it on to set the halo? I spray a small amount on the back of my clean hand and dip my clean brush (making sure it's not dripping wet), then pat (not rub) it on my halo. That works for me, it usually stays put until I remove it at night. HTH.

    • @TheContouredChemist
      @TheContouredChemist  ปีที่แล้ว

      The other commenter is correct! You could also use an eyeshadow primer and use it under the eye just where you halo as well, instead of only on the top lid!
