  • A new Democracy4 Series, where we are going for an all-out laissez-faire Capitalist Germany, breaking the hold of the unions, privatising state industries and encouraging entrepreneurship.
Note: This is not a political commentary. We are exploring the game mechanics.

If you don’t have a modest investment on some wealfare, you will get really unpopular.
Luckily, there are two (and a half) policies that can help you a lot with it.
    Food stamps
Free school meals (it also has a plus of decreasing obesity and increasing health)
Childcare provision is also pretty damn good, since it increases productivity

Handing out free things?! The market shall solve it! That said, of course we do care about fairness - but strictly in market terms. So no free services, but vouchers! unemployment benefits can go in favour of food stamps. Schooling and Healthcare shall be fully privatised, but maybe supported by vouchers as well.

@@kaiserteddie9564 exactly! Much better than unemployment benefits! (Also they do not increase socialist membership ^^ )

I think you should invest more in research, science, etc ? Maybe fund polytechnics schools, public research (while imagine that it works on a relationship with small enterprises, a thing like that) ? + I think you can spend money on regal things like order or justice : it's capitalist because they're the tasks of the State in a capitalist vision, and i'll help everyone while decreasing your malus !

Germany has pretty high technology from the start: Tech Grants at 50%, IP Rights nearly maxed, Tech Collages (i.e. Polytechs), and decent 50% science funding put it around 90% technology - enough for the two positive statuses "Tech Advantage" and "Private Space Industry". Fully agreed on the police funding. After all property right must be defended ;-)
