    Your Videos are a Delight! After learning to crochet at age 13 (now I'm 71) I crocheted for many years, then gave it up for about 25 years, Ten years ago I realized I had forgotten how. I started following your videos and lo and behold, I am a success! I won 7 ribbons for my work at my last County Fair! I love this beautiful shawl, I'm making it for my granddaughter's Mother-In-Law. Your videos are a pleasure, your voice and personality are so pleasant. You are patient and spend exactly the right length of time that you are easy to follow. I appreciate it so much that you give us tips and explanations, and go that extra step to follow us through for a few more rows. You are so special! THANK YOU!

    ok, now that's 3 Fiber Spider projects on the go - 1 for mindless, sorry mindFUL meditation in the morning pre work; 1 for waiting for the dryer to finish, and 1 to start this evening as post work therapy. Love your detailed instructions and your kind way of explaining the pattern. I am really enjoying all your videos. Thank you FS for all the hard work you put into them.

    Dear Spidy, thank you for another great tutorial. You and Barbara Benson are my favorite teachers to watch! My first TH-cam at the age of 60, was the virus shawl. I am attempting starburst with a three ply rust any two ply dark teal. It is working well. I am going to make two of them and so the shoulders together for a poncho! The only problem I had was at the very beginning with the double crochet chain one. I am legally blind. I did not know the chain five was considered one double crochet and one chain. I kept attempting with six legs. Lol I finally figured it out. Thank you for all your efforts! Sincerely, Nelly

    Using a fingering weight yarn (silk-paca) and a 2mm hook, this makes a lovely head wrap. I made one for my mom because she has cancer and has begun losing her hair. I used the silk-paca because it's super soft and would be very gentle on he bald head. Thank you for the pattern. You are an amazing tutorial maker. Very easy to follow.

    • @FiberSpider
      @FiberSpider  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. I know from personal experience how this can be. If you are looking for other good yarns to try - shawl in a ball by lion brand is quite thin and soft, as are wool-like (I think it's by loops and threads), and of course caron simply soft (although it is a bit heavier). 🌷
