I feel so grateful to live 20 minutes from this park! I was blown away riding RailBlazer for the first time, and it's great seeing my home park grow. This and a hyper in the future would bring a solid lineup. Lines might grow and things might get busier as the park expands, which is sad, but definitely worth the new coasters!
I’ve now ridden this beast 22 times, and I’ve gotten some incredible night rides recently. Seeing the Bay Area all lit up from the top of the lift hill is something else…

Back when CA Great America was loved❤ 🎉 Before it was sold for its 30 pieces of silver. 😢 This park is so much better than six flags discovery kingdom, which used to be Marine World a formally innovative zoo park and marine park combination without the ewww of SeaWorld. Six flag has let the zoo element slide. They added amusement park rides to make Six Flags. The Rollercoasters there still feel like a parking lot with rides. The zoo elements have deteriorated to an afterthought. I can't remember the last time I heard that park heralded for it conservatory work, which it used to regularly awarded. Great America is a theme park. I have heard nobody in the Bay Area say Great America was past its prime. It is beloved by many, and sold out by its caretakers. Railblazer is an excellent coaster.
Last year in December of 2018 it was my first time on the Railblazer I was amazed of how it looked it was different and I liked that I was so nervous in line and when I went on it I was scared but I enjoyed it and I really recommend it 👍
This guy doesn't do his full research tbh, wonder woman golden lasso was first, but in his arrow documentary, he mentioned big bad wolf as the first successful swinging coaster, when actually that was XLR-8 in Astroworld

@@craigperry3779 While this isn't something we are totally sure about, based on the interviews and research we did, this seems to be the case. Also, considering that SFFT announced Wonder Woman ahead of their usual "announce all parks at the same time video," this would also confirm that possibility. It's possible they caught wind of CGA doing an announcement on August 16 and that SFFT wanted to jump the gun on being the "world's first." No official confirmation from either side though.
I believe Wonder Woman opened before this. I was at the Wonder Woman opening and I can truly say RMC couldn’t have done any better than they did. I can’t wait for more raptors to be built so more people can experience the pure insanity

I guess it will be around other coasters with 8 seats for example a Eurofighter. Its like 900 people/h (ofc that the theoretical capacity, when you have good operations) thats fine for a smaller park... but for a huge park large park like one of the main Six Flags.... one guy told me he waited 3hours for a ride... here in Germany people already complain about waiting more than 60 mins for a coaster like Taron.
When I rode Railblazer at CGA they were running 1 train out of 3. It was a pain in the ass, I waited like 90 minutes. Still worth it but not pleasant at all.
This coaster is a blast! On a side note, Great America needs to start thinking about replacing the Grizzly if they're not already. Topper or I-Box track version and new layout???? Hmmmmm...they could call it the Grizzly Reborn or Grizzled!
i can't get over the simplicity of that control panel. panel power, mode select, acknowledge (aka reset lamp test), ride start lift start dispatch, restraint lock/unlock, air gates and a ride stop snd e-stop. simple. i wish the panels i used were that simple 😂😂😂😂
This ride was fun until I experienced intense hip pain towards the end. Because of the space required for the “rail” you can’t close your legs or open them because of the harness. Fun but ended up sucking really hard.
Rail Blazer. A stand up coaster conversion from a runaway mine train coaster at Six Flags *Mid-America* St. Louis back in 1984. Was only in operation for part of the ride's first and only season. A woman fell out and was killed and the forces on the stand up cars were breaking the cars. The 1985 season saw the return of the old traditional mine train cars. Great choice in names Cedar Fair.

Using the word “prototype” scares me. Look at stealth that was a prototype and it only survived 3 years. Let’s hope in 2021 the ride will stay for good.

I think these single rail coasters are the coolest looking coasters built to date.
RMC has made a NAME for itself. I think RMC is the premier Coaster manufacturer in the world. Disney should talk with these guys!!

Anyone remember the Skywhirl 7:23 in Beverly Hills Cop III? That was the only time I've seen that ride before this.
Yes I do very well it operated from 1976 to 1997 it was removed to make way for the 1998 coaster invertigo
