Great Song, great Lyrics!
The Intensity with which Rammstein delivers his Songs is simply remarkable and literally casts a spell over you!
Wiener Blut, Angst to Name just two. Lindemann is simply a real great of Performance and Expression!
One of my favorite songs!
Beautiful love story, will play it on my weadding😇
HAHAH:D Finde ich gut :D !
Great that u discovered Völkerball. Great reaction. One of the best concerts among MSG ever given live by any band.
More and more RAMMSTEIN please!!!🎉
Yes, please! 👍👍👍
very powerful and dark song !
I don't remember if you have reacted to "Mongerstern", but if you haven't, please check that out, Is in that same concert, you can find the video in the same channel as this too
I think this song talks about struggling with a hard addiction or fear. Even if you're able to quell it, it dwells in your head and remains a part of you forever.
The best Stein um Stein Live version
I loved Rammstein since 1995 and in my opinion this song is their master piece! Thx for a great reaction!
thank you for reacting to this performance from Völkerball ❤
I heard this song is a metaphor for them growing up in the eastern part of germany which was walled in as former DDR/GDR under soviet regime. And the garden he is talking about is the West.
VÖLKERBALL ❤ The BEST Rammstein Concert....imo😊
For me, it's about a relationship in which one controls the other more and more.
@@5un5h1ne I mean it’s pretty much that. Except the toxic relationship is supposed to be the authotarian state of East Germany
My favorite song!
Cool reaction! Thanks for doing it, keep them coming! :)
This story is a metaphor for the former GDR and the wall in Germany
grüße aus deutschland
La canción está inspirada en el Cuento El barril de amontillado jajaja no termina como un cuento feliz 🙂
There was a sensational crime case in Austria about 25 years ago.
A girl, who was held by her perverted kidnapper for years in a specially built dungeon in the basement and abused as a sex slave, managed to escape after he had granted her a little more freedom. "I build a cottage for you, has no windows no door" "Stone by stone, I wall you in and you shall be part of the whole". "Stone by stone I'll wall you in and I'll always be with you " "Stone by stone I wall you in and no one hears you scream"
I think he has a ptsd moment at the end of this performance because he covers his ears and screams a bit more. Richard sees him and does a longer riff to cover. Till just throws down the mike and leaves quickly. Probably a direct memory of GDR.
I think it’s about the wall that once divided East and West Germany , after World War II.
*East and West Berlin
It's about narcissists-men who oppress their partners and abuse them throughout their lives, and no one notices. “Scream, you have your feet in the concrete” and a house and a living space are built on top of it. "stone by stone"
I still believe that it is reflecting to the Wall separating East Germany and how it affected not only the band members but most of the people in East Germany
I think that's the definitive meaning of the song; Stein um Stein doubles as a kickass (sinister) Domestic Violence/Serial Killer song though.
The concert was in a arena in Nimes in France ✌️
This band burns in east Germany....
I thought you are old enough to understand the song now.....
I like your comments.... 👍
As usual there are multiple ways to interpret the Rammstein song. It might be about East Berlin / East Germany before the wall literaly falls - as some other comments already mentioned. It could also be a metaphor for toxic relationships where one part destroys the social contact of the other. Unlike some other songs (like Wiener Blut (terrible background case)) I'm not aware of a true crime story as inspiration for this song.
Google for Marc Dutroux
To me its pretty obvious a metaphor for a toxic relationship. There is no house built or "the wall". Its all about isolating someone, jealousy, dependency...only cause its rammstein with their history u might think about east/west germany. But here this is defently not the case (in my opinion).
Didn’t heard about the lirycs.. but still my favourite band.
Hi D , this song is about a woman, she is killed from him and now he walled her in ! And nobody hears her scream ! I love your reactions to Rammstein cause its my fav band of all ! Greatings and love from germany ♥️♥️🥰♥️♥️🥰♥️♥️
Rammstein ❤🔥
you a great person to react ....
Love this song ❤❤
6:14, "Bye, see you! ", you made me laugh like always😁
But your American colleague even more at the end of the song "Ich Tu dir weh" in Madison Square Garden.
The whole time he didn't understand who kicked Lindemann down to the ground and was then punished with a shower of fire.
Then at the end he said confused "Ah, so he was their keyboardist, I thought he was some f******g a******e! 😁😁😁👍
Check out 9:50 😁😁th-cam.com/video/FH-y_OP7Pug/w-d-xo.html&lc=UgyMlHSWKgpZSSwh8-x4AaABAg
There are certainly several interpretations for this song. Rammstein being steeped in culture (German in particular), I personally think that this song is related to many legends written on the subject of the imprisonment of women.
As they often do, they have therefore updated and modernized this theme.
Moreover, Till's stage interpretation is quite exceptional.
He is a leading tragedian and in this he is a worthy heir to classical Greek tragedy.
i think only east-berlin peoples can understand the meaning of this song.
Such a strong song, however you interpret it.
Yeah, an honest reactor who also wants to enjoy the process, probably won't make a lot of money here :-D Thank you for doing it anyway!
Feuer Frei - Live
In the middle ages in modern day germany the upper class build wifes who died early into the castles, its a song about that
I believe that it's not about physical abuse or murder but I personally believe that it's more about emotional/ mental abuse..you cant see the light you feel even more trapped because who can see emotional abuse? You feel walled in... the beutiful garden is you smiling on the outside and showing everyone how happy you are but inside your dying and crying out for help...Some think that emotional and mental abuse aren't real, that it's no big deal...but actually it's worse than physical abuse..yes getting hit it hurts, but the pain is only temporary...the stinging will subside..the bruise will fade... your body will heal, but being told your worthless and stupid everday for so long that you actually start believing it yourself now that stays with you and the pain is even worse because it gets into your subconscious and its very hard to reverse years and years of negativity constantly being hammered into you...
Hey D! I would love to see your reaction to Los from Völkerball
cask of amontillado vibes
Thank you! That's what I thought, too!
Yeah for me is playback the corepart, I agree with you
great to see Rammstein in their physical prime if not quite there yet createfully..as usual great reaction and hows the ticket hunting going? lol
The difference between the stage/pyro from this era of Rammstein and LIFAD is like world's apart.
I appreciate volkerball but they hit something special with LIFAD tour.
@@jezza117 I'm pretty biased as well. My first concert was at the festival de Quebec in 2012 and that was an outdoor venue. Then I saw them in Las Vegas, and Chicago for the limited LIFAD Amerika tour. Those two concert were the best I've seen from the band. True fans made up the crowd and it was nearly flawless.
@@mikellanas1207 ooh, so jello of you dude..Chicago, wasnt that where they couldnt use pyro or was it the show outside city limits@?
@@jezza117 It was at Rosemont indoors. All the pyro was in full effect. I remember distinctly someone throwing a drum stick at Paul during the first few opener songs (I think feuer frie) and him having the get all matrix to dodge it. I'll always remember that!
The reason I say that it was for the hardcore fans because I have been back to Chicago after the limited tour run for the MIG tour. The energy was different, the crowd wasn't as into it as the LIFAD tour.
Everyone in the crowd sung so LOUD in unison to every single song. Typically Du Hast is a great barometer for how well the show is being perceived/enjoyed. Every single soul in the joint put their hearts into singing along. It gave me chills and goosebumps then and still does, even thinking about it now.
Till said once the song is about one of his ex girlfriends or just about ex gf/bf
I've read many interpretations..that its based on "Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allen Poe..
React to Morgenstern from the same volkerball concert you will love it
this if for sure like the heavy metal thunder ...
The story isnt about a building a physical house. The lyrics are about domestic violence and how an abusive spouse will build a psychological house/wall around their partner while the abuse continues.

🧱STONE BY STONE 🏚️
I have plans big plans
I'm going to build you a house
Every stone will be a tear
And you'll never move out again
Yes I'm going to build a little house for you
With no windows no doors
It'll be dark inside
No light will get in at all
Yes I'll make you a home
And you are to be a part of it all
Stone by Stone I wall you in
Stone by Stone
I'll always be with you
Without clothes without shoes
You watch me working
With your feet in cement
You brighten up the foundation
Outside there will be a garden
And no one will hear you scream
Stone by Stone I wall you in
Stone by Stone
I'll always be with you
I'll always be with you
What a pounding what a hammering
Outside it starts to get dark
All of the nails stand at attention
When I ram them into your body-wood
Stone!
Stone by Stone I wall you in
Stone by Stone I wall you in
Stone by Stone I wall you in
Stone by Stone and nobody will hear you scream
More volkerball videos please !
There is no metaphore. While being brought poetical every tekst should be taken litterally. Thats what every song is.
❤
Ich habe sie sich das Lied auf meinen USB Stick und finde das einfach nur super
I think it is a straight forward song about a psycho.. you got it damn right. The music, the way he is singing it, it is 100% they. The other interpretations are just blah blah..
👍❤
Maybe it’s about Berlin Wall. They’re from east Germany and they probably felt some political pressure in the past.

4.05: Only one sentence: Nobody will her you scream!!!!!
No no no, not Berlin wall.
Google the story of Marc Dutroux, who in 1995 imprisoned two 8-year-old girls in a cellar dungeon, r*ped them and let them starve to death, and a year later locked up 12-year-old Sabine and 14-year-old Laetitia there "without a window and without a door". The dungeon was not discovered even during a police search, although the children called for help "and no one hears you scream". The rest of the text then makes a cruel sense, "all the nails stand straigth when I ram them into your body wood" gives us an idea of what the children had to go through.
A very terrible story in Belgium, in the mid-90s. @ 5:10 you can hear the children scream...

I watched in horror....you are right....too many sickos like this still exist and need to be exterminated.
This is the criminal case that inspired them to write the song. simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_Fritzl
That's what Wiener Blut is about, not this
