Welcome to Flosstube! 🎉 When I saw that Dance Dance Dance pattern, I totally thought it was from Over the Garden Wall.😂 My daughter and I watch that show every fall. Happy stitching! 😊
Charity...thank you for your sweet visit...enjoyed all your finished and WHIPS...your UFO is adorable...maybe a tea dyed fabric would allow the snow stitches to pop out...I love stiff fabric now that I stitch in hand...best wishes on this journey❤
Thanks for sharing your beautiful cross stitch pieces!! The Blooming Swan looks fantastic!!! I’ve been wanting to stitch that since it came out! I did stitch the beautiful Soaring Pigeon chart Max created though. I loved that one! And who knew Robin Pickens had a cute little fall chart for ‘the taking!!!??’ 😊😊😊 Thank you for sharing your creativity! (Cross Stitcher since 1995)
You had me at cross stitch and planners!! Woohoo!! I really like how you listed everything and a link. This was a great video! Now, I need to check out your other videos and be enabled… LOL! Have a great day!❤
I have the same Cricket Collection pattern. I bought it at a garage sale and the Be Thankful was kitted up and started. I should pull it out and stitch the small with you. I think you would like lugana but i would really encourage you to pick up 1 or 2 fancy flosses. It will add some interesting depth to when you do large areas like the moon.
I love that you found the pattern kitted up and started at a garage sale! What a find! Yes, please -- I'm excited to stitch this one, but slow to gather my materials. Someone else starting it will motivate me! :) Thanks for the fancy floss suggestion! I'm interested in trying them.
Loved your video! Dance, Dance, Dance is fabulous! I need to hunt down that pattern! I am also a big fan of Charlie Brown and Peanuts stuff. I need to look for that book too! I have been an aida stitcher only for 40 years. Some of that aida that comes in kits is awful. But not all aida, or white aida is terrible. It depends on the manufacturer. I personally like Zweigart aida and Picture this Plus for colored aida. Although there are lots of good hand dyers too if you like hand dyed.
Thank you! I can't wait to display Dance, Dance, Dance, and I'm always happy to meet another Peanuts fan! I'll have to try Zweigart aida and Picture this Plus aida. So far, I've really only used what's in my local craft store. Excited to try others!
To make the aida a bit softer, try hand washing in warm water then lay flat to dry. If you think the thread is going the bleed, use cold water. The manufacturer tends to use sizing to make the fabric stiff. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
What cute projects! I love the Dance Dance Dance one! Looking forward to your next video. 😊
Thanks! Happy to have you here😊

Thank you! 😊 Right? That pattern has to be OTGW inspired! Such a good show.
@@TheDecorativeDen Yeah it is! ❤️
You’re off to a great start! Save that Snowman pattern- you’ll be doing it in no time! Looking forward to seeing more from you!
Thank you for watching and your kind words! 😊

Thank you for watching and your kindness! I'll have to look into tea dyed fabric. I haven't heard of it before, but love the idea! 😊
I have the old Gnome pattern and I am stitching it now. Just the gnomes no words on one piece of fabric. Great first floss tube
Oh, I love that! I'm looking forward to stitching them 😊

Thanks for sharing! I am an Aida stitcher and find it relaxing but when you’re ready to venture out to linen I’m sure you’ll do great!
Thanks for the encouragement! I find Aida relaxing too. I mostly stitch at night and love that I can still see what I'm doing on aida!
Maybe try a small chart on a 25 or 28 count lugana to get used to it and then use it for your big dmc piece. It really is easy to stitch on!
That's encouraging to hear it's easy to stitch on! And I like your idea of starting with a smaller project first. Thanks!
I love Robin Pickens patterns I just finished the fall one with the crow and pumpkins. You did a nice job on your first video.
That bird series Robin Pickens has is so cute! I'm looking forward to stitching more from her.

I wash kit aida to soften it and if you don't like half crosses, just full cross them where it will work
These are great suggestions! Thank you ☺️

Thank you! I will try this.
Hi 👋🏻! New sub!! ❤
Thanks for watching and subscribing! So happy to have you here! 😊
Hello. Your first video was good. Hope to see you again soon
Thanks for watching and for your kind words! 😊
Are you going to be one of those who never show your face?
Most likely, yes. It's just easier with my filming setup.
