Playing board or card games in the afternoon after a big dinner, with all the trimmings. Times have changed, most are glued to their cell phones to play games. Life has changed to a different era. It does warm my heart to see so many still enjoy the art of crafting and cross stitch. Widowed, elderly, but owned a cross stitch shop in the 80’s, when the Prairie Schooler were all rage.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I am 75 yrs old but still remember fondly My mom cooking all day, Whining because I was hungry as the house smelled delicious. When my dad got home from work and my grandmother and uncle arrived, we sat down to such a wonderful meal and good family talks.
My most favorite Thanksgiving memory is when my father prepared the turkey & would hold it up and the turkey would sing and dance. 😂 I know this may sound silly but back in the innocence of the 60’s it was Amazing! ❤
One of my favorite Thanksgiving memories involved making homemade egg noodles and pies with my mom. That was many many moons ago. I'm thankful everyday for the blessings . I'm only in charge of making pies for Thanksgiving so I'm grateful for that. My daughter will be doing all the heavy cooking. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is really a conglomerate of memories as a kid, helping my mom and grandmom in the kitchen, playing games with everyone, and just being together.
My favorite memory is the year, mom wanted to do Thanksgiving at the camper. We had a camper on property that was my grandfathers. So four kids, two adults and a dog spent Thanksgiving in a tiny camper. We had a little portable black/white tv so we could watch the Macy's parade. It was nice weather out so us kids weren't stuck in the camper all day, we could ride our bikes, go down to the creek and fish. Now we get to tell our nieces and nephews that story of Mimi cooking in a turkey in a camper. :) Happy Stitching!
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is any one when my mother was with us. She's been gone for 6 years. She was always the best cook, and we miss her terribly.
My very favorite Thanksgiving memory is when I made my husband drive 2 hours in a snowstorm in an Orange Firebird with my mother, younger brother and myself to visit with my older brother whom lives in Salem, Missouri. We had wild turkey, deer, rabbit, homemade dressing, pies, cookies etc, Love it. My mother, younger brother and my husband are now gone. So it's precious to me.
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is when I was growing up we would have everyone over at our house. All the smells of the delicious food cooking. My sister and I, along with my grandma and aunt helping my mom with the cooking. Watching the Maceys Thanksgiving Day parade and football. Such wonderful memories with my family. Now I get to enjoy making new memories with my kids and grandchildren ❤. Thank you for another wonderful floss tube! ❤❤
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is celebrating the day with all my family gathered around the table. We’re missing my parents and my oldest brother now. Thankful for the happy memories. Your patterns are beautiful!
So many wonderful memories come to mind as I reflect on the many years we’ve spent Thanksgiving with family. That’s what it’s about. The food is yummy and usually more than we can eat, the fellowship and memories made never fade, and the reason we celebrate Thanksgiving is a blessing. I loved the slide show at the end, maybe linger a few more seconds on each chart. I’m thankful for you and all you and your family have added to the cross stitch community. Thank you.
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is when I was young, being at my grandmother's with all my cousins. (My mom had 7 siblings) . It was the best time. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful stitchy information.
My favorite memories are having Thanksgiving dinner at my mom's parents home. Almost all the aunts, uncles, and cousins would be there. After we ate, all the cousins would go outside to the front lawn. We would divide into two teams and play steal the flag. We would divide the lawn into two sections, with the water hose being the center. We would determine where jail/prison was going to be on each side. We played until one team ran the flag from the opposing side to their own side without being touched first. When we were through playing we would find another game to play or something else to do. It was alot of fun with great memories! I have a few Thanksgiving patterns to stitch but I chose to finish stitching patterns that I had already started.
My favorite Thanksgiving was when I was a child & my family went to my Grandparents house. My Grandmother had the table filled with all kinds of traditional food. Boy was she a good cook & it smelled wonderful just walking into the house ❤
My favorite Thanksgiving memory as a child was when my family had just moved. We didn't have a house yet and my father was in the military so we went to the Mess Hall on post. All the food was delicious, and it was nice to spend the meal with those who serve our country.
My nephew started a tradition of getting our side of the family which is very small, me, his Mom and his brother and his family and his wife’s side which is a little larger all together at his house to enjoy the holiday. This is 12 adults and 9 kids from 8 to 19!! Everyone brings their culinary specialty and we enjoy the day together.
My most precious Thanksgiving memory is going home to Pittsburgh from wherever my Army career Father was stationed. Time spent with my Grandparents made foe the very best memories. Happy Thanksgiving!
My favorite memories are visiting the beach at Thanksgiving. We would get an Airbnb at Myrtle Beach and my children and three grandchildren and my sister, her son, his wife and their children would spend a few days together. There would be games, food, swimming in heated pools and some shopping. It was always a good time! 🦃
My favorite memory has been traveling to Iowa to have Thanksgiving with my husband’s grandmother at a community center we rented. Part of the gym was set up for food (potluck) and eating, part set up for volleyball, part set up for basketball. After eating the adults played cards with grandma. The rules of the game were “her” rules. She died at age 102. Love you grandma❤️❤️❤️❤️
This year we are going to Florida along with kids and grandkids to celebrate Thanksgiving at the beach! A definite departure for us, no Thanksgiving traditional meal, but will be worth it to spend time with family and celebrate my husbands 75th birthday! Hope you have a wonderful week!
I got my first Make Finishing Fun box and now I am spoiled!!! I am so thankful that you are sending everything I need, including directions step by step, to finish something on my own! I have been to retreats where I try to jot down all that is said but it is so hard to hear everything in that atmosphere so I have unfinished items in a box waiting for me to send them to a finisher or whatever. Thank you Thank you Thank you! For Thanksgiving, we moved 2 years ago to be near our daughter and son in law. What a challenge moving was after living in one place for over 40 years! Anyway, we go over to their home, and join in all the Thanksgiving festivities with our son in laws family and us. We haven’t had large family gatherings since I was young and this brings back all the fun chaos and joy again. God is Good!
Favorite Thanksgiving memory, hum, each year is my favorite. I love to get together with my family and spend time. Family member have moved to heaven and other have come been added. So each year is special in it own way. Hope you and your family enjoy Thanksgiving.
My favorite memory is celebrating it when my parents were alive and all my brothers ans sister and nieces and nephews and my children were all there. Not the same holiday anymore
🦃🧡 Elayne, Terry and family, I wish for all of you the most fabulous Thanksgiving❣️🥰 My favorite memory is the last entire family Thanksgiving here at our home, it turned out amazing + what a memorable time bonding with the entire family❣️🥰🦃 All of you at Annabellas (including + pertaining to) are so appreciated, for all of you and your families, please stay healthy, safe and happy always❣️🥰
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is meeting my husband at a dance the day after. We met, we moved in together on Valentines Day, we married on June 28th. We are still happily married 39 years later❤
My favorite Thanksgiving memory was gathering at my Aunt's big victorian house. All day long family would drop in to visit and eat the wonderful treats made by another Aunt. There were pies of course, pumpkin and chocolate cream. Rum cake, pistachio cake, chocolate chip cookies!
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is 11 years ago when my oldest son was born the night before Thanksgiving! We didn't find out his gender, so until he was born we referred to him as our little turkey!
My favorite Thanksgiving memories are just spending time with family, everyone would go to my grandparents house and we would have fun just seeing all our family and playing with cousins. Sure do miss those days. This year will be small, just my husband and myself, I will be cooking the usual Thanksgiving meal, just smaller portions.
As a child, getting up to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. I would put it on the TV for my kids as well. Now to remind the grands of the parade.
My most favorite memory was Thanksgiving at my Mom and Dads. My dad is gone now and now I have Thanksgiving for the whole family. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Every Thanksgiving I think of my parents and siblings gathered round the dining table enjoying another fabulous turkey dinner prepared by my Mom. Best wishes to you and your family for a very healthy and Happy Thanksgiving. 😊
My favorite memory is family getting together. Grandparents and Uncle coming down to Texas from Missouri. We had a large pecan tree in out back yard and my grandfather would shake the tree to get the pecans. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!🦃
Love your new round ornament designs! Favorite Thanksgiving memory was when kids were little, and we had entire family, 21 adults, and children over for the Thanksgiving meal.
The last thanksgiving I spent with my father. It was a good time with family. Praying that you and your family have a blessed thanksgiving. Your Mr and Mrs Santa are really cute.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Elayne and Terry! I have so many memories of wonderful family Thanksgivings....my mom's mom was one of 11 children, and HER mother started a family tradition of gathering the extended family for Thanksgiving. All these years later, all of her descendants continue the tradition in a small town in SE Kansas. There are an average of 90 family that gather together every year. I'm sad to be missing it this year, as I have to leave on Sunday for a conference. And bookended work days on both sides. So, just a quiet stitchy day in the plan! Mrs Claus skinny mini is ADORABLE! And I LOVE gingerbread house! So many fun things!
I am finally having Thanksgiving at my house. It has been awhile. Looking forward to having the whole family together and having a traditional Thanksgiving.
Hi Elayne. My favorite Thanksgiving memories were during the eight years our family lived in Berlin, Germany, we would spend Thanksgiving week in Kitzbuhel, Austria skiing and enjoying family fun. Many of the other Pan Am airlines families also stationed in Berlin, would go as well. We would book out an entire pension. So many cherished memories were made with our families and friends. ⛷️ Happy Thanksgiving!
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is preparing some of the food with my precious Grandmother the night before. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
This time I'm not stitching a thanksgiving 🦃 chart. Kinda crazy because it's my favorite holiday. My favorite thanksgiving memory is my original family having thanksgiving dinner. There were us four girls, mom and dad. We loved to dress up for the dinner. We used all the beautiful antique china , silverware glassware, and a lovely hand crocheted tablecloth. It was beautiful in every sense of the word
Oh my! I stitched the warm woolen pattern years ago and framed it . I enjoy putting it out in my home when all my Christmas decorations are put up. Every year my family gathers at my parents. We keep growing with grandchildren and great grandchildren now. We should have 30 here this year and every one brings their special dishes. Wishing you and Terry a wonderful Thanksgiving. 😊
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Happy Thanksgiving. Last Thanksgiving was one of the special ones. My daughter and her husband traveled from very far away to be with us. We had such a good time sharing that day and the week with each other.
My favorite Thanksgiving was when I surprised my grandmother with an impromptu visit. Now this may not sound like a big deal, but I live in Texas and Granny lived in Manitoba Canada. She only really got to see her kids & grandkids in the summer because of the weather & life schedules. So one year I planned a surprise with my moms Canadian cousins to just show up for American Thanksgiving! When I got to town, I went to Cousin Alan’s house & we gathered together dinner that Alan had made to share with Granny. So when we got there, Alan brought in the dinner & said to Granny “oh I had to get a little help to bring in the food.” My granny was like “oh okay” and she looked at me & said “hello.” It was obvious that she did not know me with all the snow clothes & scarf on, so I pulled them off and said “hello back!” She did a double take and said something I will never forget: “OH!! What the hell are you doing up here?!” I laughed & said I wanted to see real snow! She was so tickled that I had surprised her & was going to stay a few days. While I was there with her, she would just look over at me & say “I still can’t believe you’re here” and just giggle like a 95 year old kid at Christmas. One of my absolute favorite Granny Memories. 🥰🥰🥰
My favorite thanksgiving memory is making homemade dinner rolls and they were so hard that the boys used them for catch…..Happy Thanksgiving to veryone
My favorite memory was when the family would get together and my brother in law would make his famous Rutabaga's, was mainly for me, couldn't get enough. Loved all your CUTE Christmas charts, was fun. Thank's,, Hello from Carolann in Minnesota, no snow yet😮😊❤
The first Thanksgiving my daughter hosted for her combined families (she was having trouble each year deciding where to go), she fixed a sweet potato casserole and used jet puffed marshmallows on top. They exploded all over the oven. She has never held another one. 😂
I love the new releases, especially Santa and Mrs Claus!!! So cute!!!!! For Thanksgiving, we are NOT having turkey! Yay! Lol!!! It's just the two of us and we are so sick of the same ole, same ole, we QUIT turkey! I've no idea what I'm making yet, but NOT turkey! Lol!!!!! My favorite memories of Thanksgiving are from when I was a child and spent it at my Grandmother's house! All the family that would drop in was delightful and fun! I do miss that as families are not as big as they once were, or don't seem to be. Thank you for making the video, it was very enjoyable! Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
My favorite Thanksgiving memory was when my cousins and I would be dropped off at the theater to watch whatever big movie was released, we felt like grownups…little did we know it was a reprieve for our parents🤣 Happy Thanksgiving to you and your beautiful family🤎🧡💛
My favorite Thanksgiving Day memory is when I was growing up and we would be at my mamaw Johnson’s house and momma, Aunt Linda and mamaw would be in the kitchen together cooking the food for lunch … when mamaw finished mixing the dressing, she would hand me a spoon and ask me to take a bite to see if it was ready for the oven, did it need more seasonings or was it just right … which it was just right for the oven … mamaw always cooked from scratch and it was so delish … I hope you and Terry have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day celebration and until next time Happy Stitching 🧵 … 😊❤ Dena
In 1998 our daughter was pregnant with our first grandchild and it was so warm in Iowa on Thanksgiving Day that the boys played football in the backyard.
Thanks for sharing all the beautiful patterns! My favorite Thanksgiving memories are the wonderful meals with all the family. This year we will be at the beach in Florida!
Happy Thanksgiving, Elayne! My favorite memory was from a few years ago, when my sister asked me to cook the turkey for Thanksgiving. I hate to cook, nor do I cook well, but I said I would give it a go. I had only cooked a turkey once before this. Come to find out, one of the guests at the dinner was going to be her daughter's boyfriend who was a professional chef. He was also the personal chef of a sports celebrity. And he got stuck eating my turkey...which turned out to be not so bad. But I could have clobbered my sister for putting me in such a position 😂
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. The first year so many of my children were married, they were gone by 2 to head to their in laws houses….😳so now we get together on Friday!
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I absolutely love all your new Christmas designs. They are so cute. I don’t really have a favorite Thanksgiving memory. Until recently it was not my favorite holiday. I am going to my daughter and son in laws house for a few days. I don’t see them as often as I used to because they moved further away from me. I will get to spend time with my oldest grandson so I am really looking forward to that. I am very happy that I get to spend time with them. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Hi Elayne, Happy Thanksgiving to you and Terry may God send many blessings your way. Let’s see my favorite Thanksgiving memory is when my mom and my Aunt Darolyn were in the kitchen cooking up a storm making pumpkin pie and turkey with stuffing and all the trimmings that go with it and then us kids playing outside riding our bikes and playing cowboys, cowgirls and Indians and when the Thanksgiving meal was ready everyone sitting around the table talking and eating a wonderful meal together just enjoying each other, after we all finish eating and cleaning up my mom and dad along with my Aunt and Uncle would play cards at the table men against the women and of course daddy would always cheat just to make it fun and mom would always be on alert and watch what he was doing so her and my Aunt would not let him win. Oh how I miss those days but the memories are wonderful. 🦃🦃🧡🧡
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. We will be traveling a short distance to spend the day with family. Like your new Christmas patterns and just purchased a few.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Terry! I hope you have a relaxing holiday! Love the new patterns. My favorite Thanksgiving memory isn’t really specific, just lots of flashes to spending Thanksgiving with my family at my grandmother’s house in PA.
My favorite Thanksgiving memory occurred when I was a child. At a large family dinner, I ended up squirting whipped cream on my uncle's face. Long ago they sold whipped cream topping in a can with a nozzle squirt top. I didn't line the hole up with my pie and it was lined up with my uncle's face instead. He was sitting two people away from me. My brother sat between us, and he had moved upright in his seat just at the right moment. I was horrified when I realized what I had done. My uncle was a very shy, quiet person and he sat frozen in his seat with absolutely no facial expression. It was very quiet in the room as everyone sat stunned. I felt really bad until my mom stood up and laughed so long and so hard that tears rolled down her face. Then everyone joined in......... except my uncle.
Hi Elayne. No Thanksgiving here - no money!! Unfortunately it's just Thursday for us. Maybe next year things will be better. Stitching Christmas by JBW Designs.
All family gathered together; Dad carving the turkey and us helping Mom with the sides. Most memorable times that I miss dearly !!
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is when my Grandfather would say grace. Those few quiet moments were the most special part of my day.
Playing board or card games in the afternoon after a big dinner, with all the trimmings. Times have changed, most are glued to their cell phones to play games. Life has changed to a different era.
Happy thanksgiving! My favorite memories are baking pies with my grandmother the night before. Now I carry the tradition with my kids 🦃
My favorite Thanksgiving memory was when my cousins and I would be dropped off at the theater to watch whatever big movie was released, we felt like grownups…little did we know it was a reprieve for our parents🤣
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your beautiful family🤎🧡💛
Love your new cross stitch releases. Spending Thanksgiving at the beach with family.
I love your tiny houses. I want all of them. Can't afford them but I love them.

Spending time with family is my favorite!!
Thank you Elaine! Happy Thanksgiving to all my American stitcher friends. Just stitching Christmas as we had our Thanksgiving early October.
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. The first year so many of my children were married, they were gone by 2 to head to their in laws houses….😳so now we get together on Friday!
Thank you for doing the last one house. Love it
This year we are going to China town in Chicago . We were invited by our daughter and son-in-law.
Round the table with family.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Terry! I hope you have a relaxing holiday! Love the new patterns. My favorite Thanksgiving memory isn’t really specific, just lots of flashes to spending Thanksgiving with my family at my grandmother’s house in PA.
Love your personal new releases!
Traveling to Ohio!🦃
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. My favorite side dish is sweet potatoes , of any style or recipe.
