I passed my test and became a citizen on April 20th 2022. I was way too nervous for an interview that lasted 10 minutes.. it was really not worth worrying so much. No documents were asked. Just memorize the 100 questions and your N400 but don't stress too much. No documents were asked and my interview was on an iPad. The Oath of Ceremony took place shortly after. Overall, I was in the building for an hour maximum. I hope my comment will help, and I will remain available to any questions. But otherwise, although Jackie I terrific and those videos are great, I don't miss them!

Hi Jackie, yesterday I passed my interview and now I have to wait for the letter on the mail for the naturalization ceremony, your channel helped me so much, my interview was short, done in 10’, they asked me -The House of Representatives has how many voting numbers?-Who signs bills to become laws?-What are two Cabinet-level positions?-When was the Constitution written?-Name one state that borders Canada-What major event happened on September 11, 2001, in the United States? My reading sentence was “what state has the most people?” Writing sentence was “California has the most people” They did not asked me any vocabulary.

thanks to your videos, yesterday I was able to pass my citizenship test. the officer lady was nice, she was in a hurry and didn't know what was going on, she told me that there is no need for me to sit down, we are all standing the whole interview which took like 10 min. asked about N400 yes or no, civics and reading test were easy.

I have to said that my interview was really easy but I guessing because i am just 21 and haven’t do much, she ask for my resident and passport/social security only (nothing else), first we started with the reading test How many senator US senators are there? Writing test They are one hundred senators I answer all 3 out of 4 question correctly 1. Who is the governor of Nj: failed 2. In what month do we vote for president: pass 3. At what age you can vote: pass 4. When do we celebrated Independence Day: pass We went through the application She just asked my name Date of birth Address Height And where i was born Then we went through the yes and no questions No definitions ask ( thanks God) Just ask like 6/10 of those Waited around 30min to be called to the interview My interview took 10 minutes max And then waited for around 1hr for my oath ceremony

I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for all your efforts. I will share a little bit about my journey. I submit my application on 1/19/22 and my interview was yesterday 7/14/22. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Officer just put me under oath, ask only for my GC (no passport or any kind of documents), she asked me 6 questions, then reading and writing. Simple and fast. From application just some questions with yes and no answers. My case I would say is not usually. I am GC holder since 2009 but extremely lazy to file for citizenship. I decided to do in January because my GC exp date was July. I went to Hicksville NY for interview and she told me that ceremony will be there also. I been watching your videos because I didn’t know what to expect. I was nervous but everything was so easy. Thank you again for your effort

But I really prepared myself for the worse case scenario. But it was so easy that I was so surprised. Learning from your channal and some others had heled me prepare. I just passed my interview and took the oath the same day. These videos were my most helpful study tool, without them I would have been so unprepared. Because I watched them I knew all the steps in advance and felt very comfortable, as if I had done it before. The interview was very short, 15-20min, no other documents were asked for. No definitions were asked and the officer was very friendly. My sense is they have a big workload and are trying to make the interviews go smooth and fast if possible. I dressed professionally and had a new binder for my documents, something I saw in your videos.Thank you so much!

I did filled out the inquiry from online.I don’t know if that help me to be scheduled for interview or not but I will say do a inquiry on your case if it taking too long. I finally went for oath ceremony and got certificate yesterday even I passed the test one month ago but the officer said there was network problem so she couldn’t complete downloading my profile that day. It was more laid back than I expected. Everyone here just showed letter and green card to the front desk even asking, the front desk just told us to stand in the line, lol. During writing test, the officer asked me to write “There are one hundred senators”, I asked her back which one she preferred “100” or “one hundred”, she answered “whatever you like”.

Hi Jackie, I just wanted to thank you and your team for helping me with my interview today May 12th, I was approved, and I currently waiting for my Oath Ceremony to be scheduled, since I requested a name change they told me it would probably take up to 6 weeks. Interview was fairly easy, started with the Civic test, I answer all 6 questions correctly. 1. What is an amendment? 2. In what month do we vote for President? 3. Who is the Chief of Justice of the United States now? 4. What ocean is on the East Coast of the United States? 5. What is the supreme law of the land? 6. What major event happened on 9/11? (That’s how the Officer asked) The reading test: When was Abraham Lincoln President? The writing test: Lincoln was President during the Civil War. Then we went through the application, my eligibility was through marriage, as far as documents, they asked for the appointment notice, green card, passport, tax transcripts which I provided. They asked for a state issued ID or drivers license, that one I did not provide and I explained that I never apply for it. No other documents were needed. I just wondering something, currently I have Dual citizenship, from Honduras and Italy, (something I told the Officer during the interview)what happens when I already have two? Do I have to resign to both or can I keep one?

Looking for honest opinion, My interview is June 14th kinda nervous. When the officer ask if I’ve any questions , should I mention a change in my employment if I have only worked at a place for 3 weeks ? Prior to submitting application i was unemployed then got a job right after lasted for 3 weeks and now I’m unemployed. Is it worth mentioning for the officer to make that change or update to add the job tho it was a short time ?

I failed on my n-400 application only to one question on chapter 12 n.35 which is a" removal proceeding " .At this point on my second interview I would be asked on the whole application or only to that particular question which I failed. I thank you.
Usually the notice will state what's the reason that you failed the first interview, not a particular question. For example, your understanding of English. If that's the case, then the officer can ask all the questions on the N-400 application.

Just finished my interview. That was so scary and not at all similar to what you present (Detroit office). That was a horrible experience for me like my PhD defense session. They were not polite at all. So scary. Speaking super fast I could understand just 30% max. 90% of the questions were out of the forms and US history (civil). I didn't here even one thank you.
I got pulled over by a policeman once who gave me a ticket. I went to court and my case has been dismissed. Please, let me know if I should bring it up in my interview. Thank you in advance.

the officer lady was nice, she was in a hurry and didn't know what was going on, she told me that there is no need for me to sit down, we are all standing the whole interview which took like 10 min. asked about N400 yes or no, civics and reading test were easy.

I just wanted to thank you for helping me with my interview today May 21, I was approved and had my Oath ceremony today as well.
I have to said that my interview was really easy but I guessing because i am just 21 and haven’t do much, she ask for my resident and passport/social security only (nothing else), first we started with the reading test
How many senator US senators are there?
Writing test
They are one hundred senators
I answer all 3 out of 4 question correctly
1. Who is the governor of Nj: failed
2. In what month do we vote for president: pass
3. At what age you can vote: pass
4. When do we celebrated Independence Day: pass
We went through the application
She just asked my name
Date of birth
Address
Height
And where i was born
Then we went through the yes and no questions
No definitions ask ( thanks God)
Just ask like 6/10 of those
Waited around 30min to be called to the interview
My interview took 10 minutes max
And then waited for around 1hr for my oath ceremony

I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for all your efforts. I will share a little bit about my journey. I submit my application on 1/19/22 and my interview was yesterday 7/14/22. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Officer just put me under oath, ask only for my GC (no passport or any kind of documents), she asked me 6 questions, then reading and writing. Simple and fast. From application just some questions with yes and no answers.
My case I would say is not usually. I am GC holder since 2009 but extremely lazy to file for citizenship. I decided to do in January because my GC exp date was July.
I went to Hicksville NY for interview and she told me that ceremony will be there also.
I been watching your videos because I didn’t know what to expect. I was nervous but everything was so easy.

I passed my N-400 interview today. It was so quick. Done in under 10 mins. No documents asked. I was quite stressed going in at the beginning. But I really prepared myself for the worse case scenario. But it was so easy that I was so surprised. Learning from your channal and some others had heled me prepare. Most applicants get the interview in 3-12 months. We have seen longer and shorter also.
I just passed my interview and took the oath the same day. These videos were my most helpful study tool, without them I would have been so unprepared. Because I watched them I knew all the steps in advance and felt very comfortable, as if I had done it before. The interview was very short, 15-20min, no other documents were asked for. No definitions were asked and the officer was very friendly. My sense is they have a big workload and are trying to make the interviews go smooth and fast if possible. I dressed professionally and had a new binder for my documents, something I saw in your videos.Thank you so much!

I did filled out the inquiry from online.I don’t know if that help me to be scheduled for interview or not but I will say do a inquiry on your case if it taking too long. When I google the time of the process it's says year to 2 years. Is that true? I am 3years green card holder and now I have 2 years and half wich mean not 3 fully years yet I know I can apply earlier 90 days after 2month. My second question is can I apply now if iam early 5 month ??

I finally went for oath ceremony and got certificate yesterday even I passed the test one month ago but the officer said there was network problem so she couldn’t complete downloading my profile that day. It was more laid back than I expected. Everyone here just showed letter and green card to the front desk even asking, the front desk just told us to stand in the line, lol. During writing test, the officer asked me to write “There are one hundred senators”, I asked her back which one she preferred “100” or “one hundred”, she answered “whatever you like”.
His English accent is not Korean. I think, he is Chinese.

If it's 7 months, it's over the duration for review. You need to call them and speak to a supervisor to find out what happened.

I just wanted to thank you and your team for helping me with my interview today May 12th, I was approved, and I currently waiting for my Oath Ceremony to be scheduled, since I requested a name change they told me it would probably take up to 6 weeks.
Interview was fairly easy, started with the Civic test, I answer all 6 questions correctly.
1. What is an amendment?
2. In what month do we vote for President?
3. Who is the Chief of Justice of the United States now?
4. What ocean is on the East Coast of the United States?
5. What is the supreme law of the land?
6. What major event happened on 9/11? (That’s how the Officer asked)
The reading test:
When was Abraham Lincoln President?
The writing test:
Lincoln was President during the Civil War.
Then we went through the application, my eligibility was through marriage, as far as documents, they asked for the appointment notice, green card, passport, tax transcripts which I provided. They asked for a state issued ID or drivers license, that one I did not provide and I explained that I never apply for it. No other documents were needed.

Looking for honest opinion, My interview is June 14th kinda nervous. When the officer ask if I’ve any questions , should I mention a change in my employment if I have only worked at a place for 3 weeks ? Prior to submitting application i was unemployed then got a job right after lasted for 3 weeks and now I’m unemployed. Is it worth mentioning for the officer to make that change or update to add the job tho it was a short time ?

If the system of writing I sure passed
I failed on my n-400 application only to one question on chapter 12 n.35 which is a" removal proceeding " .At this point on my second interview I would be asked on the whole application or only to that particular question which I failed. I thank you.
Is it because you answered something different then what you had on original application?
Usually the notice will state what's the reason that you failed the first interview, not a particular question. For example, your understanding of English. If that's the case, then the officer can ask all the questions on the N-400 application.
Yes, on the notice, the the reasen for my failor she put my luck of understanding of the English language. That's unacceptable to me.

Yes. They can fail you for not understanding English and you will have one more chance to pass.

Just finished my interview. That was so scary and not at all similar to what you present (Detroit office). That was a horrible experience for me like my PhD defense session. They were not polite at all. So scary. Speaking super fast I could understand just 30% max. 90% of the questions were out of the forms and US history (civil). I didn't here even one thank you.

You should mention it if question 23 is asked about citation. It's not a big deal at all.
hello I like this interview I in joy it. but I have questions this guy he's from Japan and then he said he changed. and now he's from Canada. well it's ok to change your country to other countries in interview time if you don't want too ?

What is his nationality (which means what passport he currently holds)? Canadian.
