To the glory of God, I passed my interview today. I thank you for the videos I watched. It really helped. It was pretty easy. It took about 20 minutes. The officer was professional and nice. She started me with the reading and writing test using the tablet. My Reading test was: Which State has the most people? Writing test: California has the most people. Next was the civic test. I answered the first 6 questions. Q1. What does the constitution do? Q2. What major event happened on September 11, 2001, in the United States? Q3. Who is the commander in chief of the military? Q4. What is the supreme law of the land? Q5. What happened at the constitutional convention? Q6. Who was the first president? The last part was reviewing my N-400 application. No definitions. To those who may be nervous, I say, relax, watch the videos, listen to the audios even if you are cooking, washing etc. Whoever is preparing for this interview, I tell you, with God's help, you will also succeed. I know you can make it. Yes, you can.

My interview was virtual, and the interview took me only 15 min. When I finished and came back to the waiting area and adjudicator said, you did great job. She was awesome 🤩 I applied on june 8 2021 and I got confirmation of reuse my previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics on June 9 2021. I got interview appointment notice on December 3 2021 that interview is on January 20 2022 at 9:45 in Philadelphia. Here are the details: 1. Asked me to show Green Card, passport, driver’s license and appointment letter. 2. Put me under oath . 3. Part 1, Started with reading and writing test, Read: who elects congress? Write: The people elect congress. 4. Part 2, Civil test A)Who was the president during World War I ? B) what does the Judicial branch do? C) who wrote the Declaration of Independence? D) Name one branch of the government? E) There were 13 original states. Name three. F) The federalist Paper supported the passage of the U.S. constitution. Name one of the writers? 5. Part 3, He asked me some questions from N-400 application, but didn’t asked me any definition and didn’t asked me for any documents. I want to thank you for showing that there is nothing wrong on asking questions. The officer didn’t ask me, Do you have any questions before start, so I asked him, I have a question before we start. I made some errors on my application and I would like to update. And he said what? I said, email and school address. He said, ok will go over and will update. One tip for everyone don’t forget to be smiling face . Oath ceremony will be scheduled in 1/2 weeks. I am so excited for oath ceremony 😆

First had the civics test: 1) Who is the father of our country; 2) what moment tried to end racial discrimination? 3) when is the last day you can send in federal income taxes? 4) what are the two major political parties in the United States? 5) we elect a US representative for how many years? 6) what is supreme law of the land? Reading: who elects Congress Writing: the people elect congress

@@olenamoroz6657 Sorry to bother you but I have one more question. I submitted my N400 on 6.13.21. Interview scheduled update on my case on 2.10.22. Interview scheduled for 3.14.22. When I submitted on 6.13.21 the time to decide was 13 months. Then it started counting down. On 2.9.22, the time to decision was 5 months. On 2.10.22, case updated with interview notice but time to decision moved to 13 months. How do I interpret this? Am I looking at some issues? Can you please share your experience?

Very grateful to this channel - I passed my interview today (waiting for the oath ceremony now). The officer asked only questions from the application. When he asked whether I have ever been "arrested, cited, or jailed", I told him that I wasn't sure whether I should have clicked "yes" there (I had put "no") because I had two traffic related cases (driving w/o license and violation of probation). He asked whether I was arrested or jailed, I said no, he said, don't worry. (I did upload court records in my account and mentioned the violation of probation in the application, but he didn't ask for any details). These two incidents happened to me 10 and 9 years ago, in case that matters. As I understand, officers pay more attention to the last 5 years of the applicant's moral character history. Together with the civics, the interview was super fast, around 10 min. The officer seemed to be nice too, though he had a super serious look while he was asking the questions.
@@PoojaKumar96 i think just around 8 for the civics, and around the same for the application: my name, birth, marital status, previous marriages, current employment, whether I have stayed outside US for longer than 6 months, whether I have ever been arrested, cited, or jailed; whether I have been a member of the Communist party or terrorist organization; whether I'm ready to take up arms for the US. I think that was it.

Thank you so much for all of your videos. They are easy to understand and memorize. I binge watched it for a week before the interview day :) This video is the best of the best. It shows exactly what my interview was. I passed the interview and got oath ceremony same day. Reading test: When is Columbus Day? Writing test: Columbus Day is in October. Civic test: you should memorize everything and what the interviewer asks will become a piece of cake. Interview: similar to this video The interviewer is really nice. It's not face to face interview but face to Ipad, so I felt much confident. Please dont be scared because the interviewer does not investigate you to fail you but he just wants to verify your information and double check if it's correct. He asked me about my address, my son's birthday, what do I do, where I work and how long do I work there. Pretty simple. With yes-no questions, you should listen carefully what he asks. You dont have to rush to answer. If you dont know it well or dont understand, ask him to repeat slowly. It can buy you more time to think about your answer. Hope it helps! Gluck you guys. P/s: my tip for success is to be confident. Even if you're not really confident, fake it until you make it :))

Good moral character is a must, follow the protocols and tell the truth nothing but the truth.You don’t need to worry if you are well prepared, all officers are well trained and they are nice. if you don’t understand you can asked them and they will repeat the question to you. Believe me they are nice , they will let you to feel comfortable talking to them. Reply me if I say wrong.

Hello Jackie. I'm Alexandra Sammon I live in Hawaii and I wanted to say thank you so much and your videos on the channel "Entrevista de Ciudadania Americana". Now I am already an "American Citizen" . Infinite thanks. My English is not perfect, so I watched your videos over and over again. Yesterday I had my interview with a USCIS officer in Honolulu. She was very kind. First I stood up and I swore to tell the truth, then the officer asked me to sit down, and then she asks me for the notification letter, passport, driver's license and green card. So we had a talk about normal things, the weather, what time I had taken my flight. (Since I live on a different island) then it was the reading and writing test. After that we went to the civic questions that were only six questions. after that Review of documents and questions of the N-400. I prepared myself as you teach in your videos. Bring all the documents I might need when it comes time to review my N400 application. And if it wasn't thanks to you, I wouldn't have known what to expect in this part of the interview. In fact, when filling out my online application, I had an error when writing my social security number. So I took the original and a copy and explained it to the officer and she fixed it. At the end of this part, the officer asked me to check on a tablet that everything was correct. and asked me to sign. Afterwards, the officer informed me that my Citizenship application had been approved and I immediately did the Oath of allegiance. She gave me a document where she said that she had approved my application and asked me to come back four hours later for my citizenship. To the glory of God, I passed my interview today. I thank you for the videos I watched. It really helped. It was pretty easy. It took about 20 minutes. The officer was professional and nice. She started me with the reading and writing test using the tablet. My Reading test was: Which State has the most people? Writing test: California has the most people. Next was the civic test. I answered the first 6 questions.
Q1. What does the constitution do? Q2. What major event happened on September 11, 2001, in the United States? Q3. Who is the commander in chief of the military? Q4. What is the supreme law of the land? Q5. What happened at the constitutional convention? Q6. Who was the first president? The last part was reviewing my N-400 application. No definitions. To those who may be nervous, I say, relax, watch the videos, listen to the audios even if you are cooking, washing etc. Whoever is preparing for this interview, I tell you, with God's help, you will also succeed. I know you can make it. Yes, you can.

Hi Jackie ! Thank you so much 🙏 I passed my citizenship interview yesterday. Your all videos are Very helpful. I was little bit nervous but adjudicator was very nice. My interview was virtual, and the interview took me only 15 min. When I finished and came back to the waiting area and adjudicator said, you did great job. She was awesome 🤩 I applied on june 8 2021 and I got confirmation of reuse my previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics on June 9 2021. I got interview appointment notice on December 3 2021 that interview is on January 20 2022 at 9:45 in Philadelphia. Here are the details:
1. Asked me to show Green Card, passport, driver’s license and appointment letter.
2. Put me under oath .
3. Part 1, Started with reading and writing test, Read: who elects congress? Write: The people elect congress.
4. Part 2, Civil test
A)Who was the president during World War I ? B) what does the Judicial branch do?
C) who wrote the Declaration of Independence? D) Name one branch of the government?
E) There were 13 original states. Name three. F) The federalist Paper supported the passage of the U.S. constitution. Name one of the writers?
5. Part 3, He asked me some questions from N-400 application, but didn’t asked me any definition and didn’t asked me for any documents. I want to thank you for showing that there is nothing wrong on asking questions. The officer didn’t ask me, Do you have any questions before start, so I asked him, I have a question before we start. I made some errors on my application and I would like to update. And he said what? I said, email and school address. He said, ok will go over and will update. One tip for everyone don’t forget to be smiling face . Oath ceremony will be scheduled in 1/2 weeks. I am so excited for oath ceremony 😆

Pasted my citizenship interview today. Officer was friendly. Officer did ask and check my tax transcripts for last 4 years. First had the civics test: 1) Who is the father of our country; 2) what moment tried to end racial discrimination? 3) when is the last day you can send in federal income taxes? 4) what are the two major political parties in the United States? 5) we elect a US representative for how many years? 6) what is supreme law of the land?

When I submitted on 6.13.21 the time to decide was 13 months. Then it started counting down. On 2.9.22, the time to decision was 5 months. On 2.10.22, case updated with interview notice but time to decision moved to 13 months. How do I interpret this? Am I looking at some issues? Can you please share your experience?

Very grateful to this channel - I passed my interview today (waiting for the oath ceremony now). The officer asked only questions from the application. When he asked whether I have ever been "arrested, cited, or jailed", I told him that I wasn't sure whether I should have clicked "yes" there (I had put "no") because I had two traffic related cases (driving w/o license and violation of probation). He asked whether I was arrested or jailed, I said no, he said, don't worry. (I did upload court records in my account and mentioned the violation of probation in the application, but he didn't ask for any details). These two incidents happened to me 10 and 9 years ago, in case that matters. As I understand, officers pay more attention to the last 5 years of the applicant's moral character history. Together with the civics, the interview was super fast, around 10 min. The officer seemed to be nice too, though he had a super serious look while he was asking the questions.

@@PoojaKumar96 i think just around 8 for the civics, and around the same for the application: my name, birth, marital status, previous marriages, current employment, whether I have stayed outside US for longer than 6 months, whether I have ever been arrested, cited, or jailed; whether I have been a member of the Communist party or terrorist organization; whether I'm ready to take up arms for the US. I think that was it.

Thank you so much for all of your videos. They are easy to understand and memorize. I binge watched it for a week before the interview day :) This video is the best of the best. It shows exactly what my interview was. I passed the interview and got oath ceremony same day.
Reading test: When is Columbus Day?
Writing test: Columbus Day is in October.
Civic test: you should memorize everything and what the interviewer asks will become a piece of cake.
Interview: similar to this video
The interviewer is really nice. It's not face to face interview but face to Ipad, so I felt much confident. Please dont be scared because the interviewer does not investigate you to fail you but he just wants to verify your information and double check if it's correct. He asked me about my address, my son's birthday, what do I do, where I work and how long do I work there. Pretty simple. With yes-no questions, you should listen carefully what he asks. You dont have to rush to answer. If you dont know it well or dont understand, ask him to repeat slowly. It can buy you more time to think about your answer. Hope it helps! Gluck you guys.
P/s: my tip for success is to be confident. Even if you're not really confident, fake it until you make it :))

Good moral character is a must, follow the protocols and tell the truth nothing but the truth.You don’t need to worry if you are well prepared, all officers are well trained and they are nice. if you don’t understand you can asked them and they will repeat the question to you. Believe me they are nice , they will let you to feel comfortable talking to them. Reply me if I say wrong.

Which city and state? And how long did it take you between the biometrics and interview?
@@gangztah2010 San Antonio Texas as long as you have all the documents 1 hour for the interview for biometrics I didn't have to do that because it's already on my file and don't forget your tax transcript and deeds

@@soriano119 only about 30 minutes.. they aren’t letting anyone in yet, so mostly the time is taken just checking everyone. The actual ceremony is only the oath which takes 3 minutes.

Hello Jackie. I'm Alexandra Sammon I live in Hawaii and I wanted to say thank you so much and your videos on the channel "Entrevista de Ciudadania Americana".
Now I am already an "American Citizen" .
Infinite thanks. My English is not perfect, so I watched your videos over and over again. Yesterday I had my interview with a USCIS officer in Honolulu. She was very kind. First I stood up and I swore to tell the truth, then the officer asked me to sit down, and then she asks me for the notification letter, passport, driver's license and green card. So we had a talk about normal things, the weather, what time I had taken my flight. (Since I live on a different island) then it was the reading and writing test. After that we went to the civic questions that were only six questions. after that Review of documents and questions of the N-400. I prepared myself as you teach in your videos. Bring all the documents I might need when it comes time to review my N400 application. And if it wasn't thanks to you, I wouldn't have known what to expect in this part of the interview. In fact, when filling out my online application, I had an error when writing my social security number. So I took the original and a copy and explained it to the officer and she fixed it. At the end of this part, the officer asked me to check on a tablet that everything was correct. and asked me to sign. Afterwards, the officer informed me that my Citizenship application had been approved and I immediately did the Oath of allegiance. She gave me a document where she said that she had approved my application and asked me to come back four hours later for my citizenship. Thank you infinite for the love and attitude you put into teaching. Thanks for thinking of the details and you give us confidence. Muchas Gracias!!
