My family is also a family of McPeakes living in Canada. My great grampa Sam McPeake who was uillean piper (ireland) and his son, my grampa Asa Mcpeake (Francis 1st lookalike!!)musician. All of his 11 childern play and sing...very musical. Then there is me and my 5 siblings all musicians in bands. See music video ELVYN on youtube see McPeake decendants entertain.
Wow. We have a very old record, "The McPeake Family of Belfast." I think it's the one you're discussing. I've been listening to it since I was born, which is 1961!
I don't think so. All the MacPeake first sons played the uillean pipes since about 1901 and I think most were named Frances. I have an LP from the 1960s which has a really old man on the cover who was probably the first McPeake to be recorded.
Oh so wonderful I can sleep with that wonderful music
Beautiful wonderful great I am at a loss for words
