    Bill Walton always recognized Kobe's defensive prowess in games during the early 2000s.

    Damn Kobe with the three and then creating a wide open three for Horry to win it! Kobe can make the shot or make the play! "The right basketball play" 😂😅

    22 years later, and *I'm still mesmerized with Portland's roster* .
    Somebody's gotta do a deep dive into how so many all-stars agreed to join the friggin' Portland Trailblazers.

      Many of those Trail Blazer squads from Rasheed’s era were that deep, they just could not get over the hill as the balance of power was quickly moving west from 1997 onwards

    It’s so funny I’ve seen so many say he’s not top 5 or barely top 10. Ppl don’t understand the era, the pace, nobody was super analytical. It was about getting a bucket in these 90 possessions. Again set defenses in the HALF COURT GAME. Kobe and Shaq being the best guard/wing & big was perfect. Inside outside game. The disrespect is so crazy since he passed away. I love Steph but to hear ppl say he’s over Kobe. Is so weird when you watched them both play. Watching these games and seeing how the commentators, tv media and newspapers say about Kobe in REAL TIME and for ppl to act like Kobe and MJ wasn’t a conversation is nuts

      Kobe is not a top 5. Nor is it disrespectful to put him in the top 10. I would put him in the top 10 but a case can be made that he's not.

    Even though Kobe always relished in putting on an individual showcase on in given night through the course of the season, when it was time to stop messing around and go out and play WINNING basketball, especially come playoff time, he almost if not ALWAYS adjusted his game and mentality accordingly. Whatever he needed to do to win, he did. Weather it was sacrificing his own offense for Shaq to dominate during the 3-peat, or taking on the other teams best perimeter scorer defensively, or being a facilitator/point guard, or being aggressive to score, or balancing his scoring with making his teammates better (like he did during the 09 and 10 title runs) Kobe was able to play any of those roles. I don't think he ever got enough credit for that..

    I'm not look at the majority of the comments as a diehard Kobe and Lakers fan. Imma say this: there's nothing wrong being a Kobe fan and giving PRAISE for some of his teammates. No reason to hate on greatness of his teammates and discredit their contributions to the team. Let's appreciate them while they're still here because you never know when they're gone from this world. This is what Kobe would want. 🙌

    • @Theterminato2013
      @Theterminato2013 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They said that because Kobe in 2002 only shot 25% from 3 during the 2002 RS since he didn’t attempt too much 3s and focused more on the midrange shooting a career high 46.9% from the field. Ironically he shot far better from 3 when during the 2002 playoffs.
