Geez, whatever happened to all these great educational ads for kids??? The kids of today could certainly use them! Currently watching & enjoying the hell outta these, on a Saturday morning.
Wolf Rock TV was canceled after like two episodes, where they replaced it with reruns of The Scary Scooby Mysteries (repackaged Scooby & Scrappy Doo episodes from earlier seasons). Dragon's Lair also got axed fairly quickly, where reruns of Rubik returned midseason.
And this is a very rare example of the show to be seen on TH-cam. Where did the OP get this video from? Wonder if the source would have any other 1984 recordings off of ABC SatAM....
@@jarrellmason9080 You tell Frank that it was actually August 4, 1985, when both WRAL-TV 📺 and WTVD switched network affiliates in the Triangle 🔼 area (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill-Fayetteville, North Carolina).
It was 1985; WTVD's parent company at that time bought ABC, making WTVD an ABC O&O (which they still are today); WRAL then switched to CBS and held that affiliation until 2016 when they swapped affiliations with WNCN and became NBC while WNCN switched to CBS

I remember the thunder sound on WRAL vividly!
"Wired for Weather on WRAL TV-5"... and they ran that liner both when they were still affiliated with ABC and after the switch to CBS in 1985
This is so great! Thank you for posting!
Little known fact the voice of Zack of Trades is Luther vandross. (Actually its kinda obvious)

WRAL and WTVD swapped network affiliations around 1986. (Until then WRAL was ABC,, WTVD was CBS)
It was 85 when TVD and RAL swapped affiliates.

Thumbnail is Barry Goldberg asking his lil bro Adam if he wants to get high (its the 80s)
What's up with the intros, and commercials. Without the show all that is pointless. I prefer the shows man
If you want him to get struck 100 different ways by copyright on TH-cam, sure.
YT doesn't play around... they will shut him down real quick if he were to try that
