Anyways, for any Zero Ranger fans confused lemme explain: So basically combat initiation is a roblox ultrakill inspired game (its great, try it) and in one of the stages (its known as Glass Houses)the main theme of the level: "Delicate Ice In Glass" is heavily inspired by this specific piece in the Zero Ranger OST its also aswell inspired by Touhou.

It was used to save space when games had to fit on floppy discs, but has no relevance anymore. A synth produces an actual audio file that will sound the same on any hardware that can play it, and goes through the same audio production pipeline as any other recorded music, the recording is simply of a digital instrument rather than a physical one.
^ Can confirm this is it. I know a channel went over some gold sound card back when it had a larger significance, and showed the difference between a standard-ish card and a more powerful one.

I really hope they add more changes to this level with the last game mode. The boss is phenomenal but aside from that the level itself is completely untouched. EDIT: I made this comment before I found out about the crab. The crab is fantastic, but I do still wish they had changed more.

Its kind of crazy how amazing it gets in the second half, this game was already very fun, but by stage 2-3 it turned into something beautiful.

Zeroranger is probably the FINEST example of midis still being a viable choice for music.
It's synth, not MIDI. The problem with MIDI and the reason it's not viable is that it sounds different on different sound cards.
