      I was at Farnborough Tech across the road when the first one flew in 2000. You couldn't hear anything in the room it was that loud.

      There are some that just demand your attention because of the sound alone. This is one for sure, so was the F14 and the B1b is another. Pure sound of raw power. It's about the only thing I don't like about the stealth fighters, their lack of this sound.

    In my opinion the sexiest plane after the F14. Damn, i love this plane!

    Very impressive, especially with a full loadout. You won’t find any Su perform these maneuvers at this high rate of speed, in a combat configuration like this.

      Critical Gaming I can remember the first airshow that I saw it when the typhoon was brand new! It was introduced in 2003 I believe and I saw it at airbourne (my towns airshow) and that dream of flying it never died...

    Dunno if Rafale can actually still pull-off the kinda fantastical maneuvers that it usually duz at airshows like this one, when dressed with a full complement of ordnance, wic adds-on so much more aerodynamic drag inefficiencies as well as counter-lift? C'mon Dassault, we're all looking-on anxiously in anticipation of a similar such exhibition by Rafale & the question is running in our minds, if in fact Rafale still duz as good when fully dressed.

    to bad a court in germany decided, that the eurofight is no longer allowed to fly certain maneuvers

    • @Bergstaller01
      @Bergstaller01 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      When did that happen, and what maneuvers were banned?

    • @steliokontos3386
      @steliokontos3386 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      due to technical problems with this jet (problems started last year), they decided to ban some maneuvers, cause they are to dangerous
      what maneuvers exactly arent allowed, i can not say

    Why have the F35 with this piece of art

    • @Balnazzardi
      @Balnazzardi 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Indeed, I really hope that my country armed forces (thats Finnish Defence Forces) will go for Eurofighter instead of F-35....other options on the table are F-18 Super Hornet (at the moment we have the older, original F-18 models), Dassault Rafale and JAS 39 Gripen.

    • @purdy9431
      @purdy9431 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought you had to rebuild the super hornet every few flights, not saying it is a bad airplane but the general running costs where high.
      However I would rather have any of the planes you mentioned than the F35.

    • @spawnof200

      the f35 IS sluggish, planes from the late 50s/early 60s are faster

    • @hunter100t
      @hunter100t 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      spawnof200 And they looked so much better from that period too. have you seen that film "The right stuff" great jets !

    • @StevieSmith77
      @StevieSmith77 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, that one passed me buy. I will have a look at that. You're right about that looks. You don't see the character in jets like you used to see in jaguars and buccaneers. I've gotta say, I'm dying to be impressed by the F35 but it's just not doing it for me. The more I read and watch, the more flaws I see

    ..Big deal, an SU 35 will fly rings around that thing.

    • @bowser515
      @bowser515 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      robert colvin the su-35 probably could fly rings around it, but it would have to slow down significantly to do so. In a dogfight, energy is life. I love all of the flankers, but in a fight with a Typhoon? I think you'd be surprised...

    • @BRAgamer
      @BRAgamer 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the su 35 will probably be blown up in BVR due to russias costant inability to make radars as effective as western ( particulary american ) ones

      Thrust vectoring is also in the works for for future Typhoons but the human body can only take so many Gs, the future is pilotless aircraft.

    Sadly too much of plastic/carbon composite makes eurofighter fragile in some manuevers.

    • @johnstill1451

      I so agree, Nick. I first started seeing air shows in 1952, at Farnborough., England.The fighters of those days ...Meteors, Vipers and proto types...Hunters Swifts etc., were very slow compared to today's beasts...but they flew very close to the crowds and created great "sounds", and excitement! Later, even the Valients, Vulcans etc., were close and LOUD...The last LOUD show I can remember, was in 1966. This show included the 'P1 Lightning', now THAT was a BEAST...Fantastic display!! Still have the display on SUPER 8 movie...
