My iPhone was under $200, my monthly bill is $12 or less. I spend less than $10 a year on makeup and will $400 seems like an insane amount to spend at one time unless it's on rent to me. The only things that go in my hair are a Tangle Teezer and coconut oil, but I find all this expensive, complicated hair TH-cam weird and fascinating. NGL If I was rich I would go out and buy this even though I'm a bit scared of ehat stylign after some bad past experiences.
It could cost you 100$ at some natural hair salons for a blowout and trim especially if you have a lot of hair. So this would pay for itself in no time.
Or you could Air-dry your hair for Free. I make 8 plaits detangler and moisturize each section when I wake up in the morning my hair is bone straight but that might just be my Hair. I'm naturally curly but straight without blowdrying

loveinpeace1214 plus others were not going by instructions and pumping the dryer (pumping not necessary plus may obstruct airflow) then complaining roots weren't dry! And one lady had way to much hair in it on low suction. I got it on the Black Friday sale. It's worth it for me because my hair is very hard to manage and I was never styling it or doing blow outs or wigs or weave or salons...mainly wearing a black scarf with the bangs twisted. I couldn't even consider the revlon brush my kinks get snagged on the balls of paddle brushes and I'm too lazy to do all that brushing.

I did buy one. And I'm shook. That thing....that thing....what it did really did blow my mind. I went for the most tension and heat to get my hair straight, but now that I see how successful that is (it was totally the best blow dry and subsequent heat straightening session I have ever had since being natural), I think the cool setting on lower tension might help me get a very nice stretched "wash and go" (which will also change the game for me in regards to winter cold, longer lasting wash and gos, and helping to keep shed hairs from turning into ssks). I am TRULY impressed by this product.

I'm wondering what setting did you have the dryer on? I think I would use heat setting of 2 and tension setting of 7. Thank you for the suggestion of brushing through the hair halfway through the drying time and continuing to dry thoroughly!
I think this would be a good dryer for stretching the hair to get a more accurate trim. Especially for those who wear their hair straight and your hair won't look choppy. I would use it to stretch it and trim and go right into a wash and go.
How was the straightening compared to blow drying and flat ironing? My hair is very very thick and crazy curly and I spend hours blow drying and flat ironing to get a straight sleek look. I've done the natural thing but I just cant get it in a way that I feel comfortable and pretty. But I was amazed with the straightening this dryer did with your hair. Totally worth it to get that type of result and that quickly.

My hair gets fully straight with a round brush and traditional blow dryer but it takes forever on burning high heat.

OMG, I want it so bad, but the cheap-o in me won't let me spend $400 on a hair dryer. Your hair looks great though. We have a similar hair type so, this video is really giving me feels. Less than 20 minutes is goals. It normally takes my a bought an hour. Granted my hair is about 17 inches, but this is amazing!!!!
