Awesome video! It's pretty close to be one to one honestly. Tbh I was perfectly fine just using the deform bones in Cascadeur. Quick note: If you're using Rigify you can make your control rig match your Cascadeur animation using Expy-Kit.
Thanks for the tip, I'll have to check it out. I was thinking about using Game Rig Tools. It separates the deformation and control rig to two armatures.
Hey so I have a question, how do you make it so that the bones change the mesh (also known as skinning/weight painting or weight editing)? I want to do what you did in 0:15, moving bones and therefore changing the mesh. For me, this doesn't work. I have a pose, which changes the position of the bones, but the bones don't change the mesh, and I cannot find any tutorials explaining how to do so. Even ChatGPT failed me by stating that I had to look in the 'rigging tools' (and it wasn't there). Please help.
There is a video tutorial on how to make the mocap ai feature title "NEW MOCAP FEATURE IN CASCADEUR".It is a very nice function, please create a tutorial for this function
Thanks for this bro !! this answered the questioni had on the last video

@@AronNemeth95 Yes Game Rig Tools it's amazing as well! I use it when exporting my rig to the game engine.

You can't do the wait painting in Cascadeur, you have to do it in Blender or any other software. They will probably implement it in the future

Currently it's not really possible unfortunately. But they have it on the roadmap
