Way back when I was a dumb young teenager I did my fair share of 'experimenting', including a round with nutmeg. I was very meticulous and took what would have been the ideal dose for my bodyweight, which I won't describe in detail as to not perpetuate such foolishness. Honestly I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, I remained fully lucid and had my faculties about me, but the best way I can describe it is that reality was water. Everything rippled and waved, every footstep was as though I was walking on top of the ocean and the ground rippled about me. That lasted for something like 2 1/2 days! Honestly I would have done it again, but good lord ingesting large amounts of nutmeg is absolutely brutal. I struggled to get it down the first time and had absolutely no desire to ever consume it in such a fashion again.
This kid I used to see at parties in highschool tried to do this once. He heard you could trip off nutmeg, so he added a ton to a coffee. All he did was throw up. Now I know he just wasn't as hard core as GG Badlands 2.0.
I remember my battle with Stage 1 Brain Cancer and I remember getting Hydrocephalus. My brain was so damaged at that time that I tripped balls. It still haunts me so much to this day that I frequently relive the nightmares we’ve been through. It was not a fun experience and I don’t recommend it. Don’t OD your bodies on Nutmeg, people. Nor any other chemical which causes hallucinations. It’s not fun to experience being at the mercy of your own mind at all.
The difference is synthesized chemicals vs natural occurring chemicals. Of course not all natural is good it may kill you but we see far more issues with man made chemicals than naturally occurring. And we have 12000 yrs of civilized history. Someone had to eat the mushroom so we know not to eat that one. Big pharma puts out tons of toxic chemicals for us and we see far more issues from food additives and other man made chemicals than we do in nature. Monsanto destroying the earth by stripping the land of all nutrients and creating toxic vegetables for us to eat. Good times.
@@vikinglife6316 This isn't even remotely how that works. You may notice that overall lifespans have improved in the last hundred years. This is partly because of the chemicals we add to foods. Kill the bugs that could crawl all over your food and you limit infectious diseases. Add preservatives to these foods and, again, you limit infectious diseases. You talk about how "all natural" diets are the best option but seemingly don't understand that "natural" still implies nature. Nature implies evolution within plants and animals. Evolution implies defense mechanisms to avoid being eaten. Many plants contain harmful chemicals within. Apple seeds contain cyanide but you'd have to eat thousands of them for them to take any affect. This same logic applies to the chemicals found within your processed foods. The levels of these chemicals are so low that they have very little effects on the body. Any damage done is almost immediately repaired by your cells. You're so convinced that companies selling natural products are actually looking out for your health when the reality is that they are currently operating a multi-billion dollar business and, just like every other company, usually fund their own "research" and "studies." The reality is that the chemicals we find in processed foods are specifically tailored to provide the best quality in regards to the prevention of disease. Most of the processed products that have been labelled "carcinogenic" by the natural community are only carcinogenic in Extremely High Quantities. It's the difference between having one can of Bud Light and chugging a whole mason jar of Everclear. The "natural" only community is absolutely no stranger to twisting the facts in their favor. Modern medicine and modern "lifestyle" changes(housing, cars, clothing) are just one piece of human life-extension. Ridding our foods of possible disease is still necessary and the most efficient methods of doing this are made in labs. What takes nature hundreds of thousands of years takes humanity 5.

Waxing poetically about a Nutmegger, while mildly entertaining, isn’t Chubem’s best work. I like the stoic delivery with big medical words defined as needed... unless... wait... Is he trolling us? Anyway, what game was the Nutmegger playing?
I think we're all done with idiots doing dangerous or stupid stuff for 'views'. Especially health professionals that have to wipe up the mess, when they could be attending to people who are ill or injured through no fault of their own.
A couple years ago I made a protein shake with some spices, I added around 1 tablespoon of nutmeg (I didn't know anything about nutmeg challenge.) At night I started tripping terribly 😶😵 It was extremely scary... I don't use nutmeg ever again since then
It only takes 2 teaspoons or 5 grams of nutmeg to suffer the affects. This is probably why recipes only usually call for a small amount, 1/2 or 1/4 tsp, mixed among a large amount of other ingredients. Causing the nutmeg amount to be even more insignificant.
Baby's case was acute hyperbreathemia, acute meaning the only reason is because of his lungs, hyper meaning high, Breath, meaning breath, And emia meaning presence in blood. High breathe presence in blood.
I've experimented with nutmeg in the past (the context was I didn't have access to more conventional psychedelics at the time) and my experience is you can do it relatively safely if you know what you're getting into and you do the appropriate research. At the proper dosage the experience is very similar to delta 8 thc but with some less than ideal side effects. The main issues with it are the time frame (it takes about 8 hours to really kick in and then can last for 16+ hours), what it does to your physical appearance (you look like you've smoked all the weed in the city), and getting the dosage right. It does cause nausea if you take a bit too much and also causes severe drowsiness, sadly the hallucinogenic effects aren't super exciting, the best description of it I have is a sensation that you're waking up out of a dream while you're awake, and it can like I said be a decent substitute for delta 8 thc. The biggest problem is definitely how hard it is on your liver though, even at appropriate dosages doing it more than once a month or so would probably be sketchy even more so if you take medications that are hard on the liver or drink, I don't have any sources for this but my intuition says alcohol + nutmeg is a lethal combo for the liver.

Karen: All natural. None of those harmful chemicals
Anime Science man: Everything in nature is chemicals
Anime science man lol
this is really funny
