I'm seeing a pattern with these videos- "His mother found him...". How many of these people would have never made it to the hospital if someone had not found them?
This is how bodies can be found in homes months to years after expiring. Someone gets into a critical state and has nobody around and nobody in the area contacts them regularly either.
@@ikilledthemoon That's because the list of possible elements that are both present naturally in our bodies and affected by daily activities like consumption or exercise, isn't all that long. You'll also notice that you see the same organs come back in these videos because there's only so many things these organs do. It's not like we have the entire periodic table in our bodies, the vast majority of what we have are organic compounds, minerals and salts, and some trace elements like metals. When people do something extreme, the natural processes gets distorted, so the common compounds in our bodies are affected, and the organs which deal with those compounds are affected. These people weren't deficient before they did something they shouldn't have, the deficiency is caused by the natural processes going haywire.

Okay Wolfie, this is NOT necessarily IRONIC, a term that is way overused, very often incorrectly. If the kid positively knew that overconsuming coffee was potentially dangerous, yet kept on doing so, then that course of action would constitute IRONY. ··· What occurred could be described as 'counterintuitive' or 'perverse' or 'paradoxical' or a bunch of other things, but (in my book) I would never use 'ironic', unless I knew more. ··· For me, coffee is just JITTER JUICE. I used to consume 1300-1500mg of caffeine per day in order to keep withdrawal at bay. I had to chug six espresso shots of freshly ground Death Wish coffee in order to feel any kind of sensation from it. I was literally flirting with overdosing from caffeine on a daily basis.
This actually is very sad to me because academic life creates such a psychological pressure in our minds that we do absurd things to pass our finals or finish important assignments. I remember one time I had a really important test in the next morning, so because I wanted to be extra prepared I didn't stop studying when night time came. I decided to stay awake as long as I could to keep studying and writing small notes in paper to make me memorize the contents. Because I was getting sleepy I made some black strong coffee to give more energy. My mug isn't a small mug, it's 500ml. I drank two mugs of coffee that night. This is nowhere near what happened in this video, but I remember when I stopped and laid in my bed to sleep (at 4am and needed to wake up at 6am) I couldn't. I was a little shaky and as much as I forced myself to keep my eyes closed to try to rest, there was not way. I did not sleep that night, just stayed rolling in my sheets and then my alarm clock rang. This is something I'll never do again.
I feel you, I did that the first two year of uni, then I learned that I am more performant if I sleep prior to an exam. It is also the midterm period, good luck if you have any !
@@LenHarms I did great! But because I didn't sleep at night the rest of that day after the test was lost, I was simply too tired after the effect of caffeine went away. I needed to do an all nighter for a test I couldn't fail too, but I googled advice for that and read online that coffee is not a good idea in these cases. I ended up eating nuts a few times that night and drinking a lot of water, since the same article said that dehydration is part of why all nighters are so hard on the body. I also closed my eyes at regular intervals while sitting or standing in positions I knew I couldn't fall asleep in. It turned out well
And I thought I drink a lot of fluids when it amounts to around 3 Liters a day. I can't imagine drinking three-times as much in a mere 2 hours! I'd wager that drinking anything in that amount would probably send someone to the hospital, including water.

Hah I love the hair part. As much as I love funny videos I actually like that you leave out jokes, witty liners, commentaries, or advice. Just straight anecdote and information. And thanks for NOT putting ads or openings! I try not to rely on caffeine to get through the day, and in a way I cant anyway. Just a cup and I get jitters, badly dehydrated and other side effects. If I drink too late in the day I cant sleep. So coffee is a nice occassional treat. But I wish I could drink matcha all day everyday.
When I overdosed on caffeine, I turned into a vegetable. I could only move my eyes, still wondering why that happened. Luckily I was at the hospital by the time that was happening so I felt ok after a couple of hours.

It's not like we have the entire periodic table in our bodies, the vast majority of what we have are organic compounds, minerals and salts, and some trace elements like metals. I used to consume 1300-1500mg of caffeine per day in order to keep withdrawal at bay. I had to chug six espresso shots of freshly ground Death Wish coffee in order to feel any kind of sensation from it. I was literally flirting with overdosing from caffeine on a daily basis.
There is a thing called tolerance. And over a day that is not horrible but it isn't 'safe'.
