Sketchbook Session 1 | Draw and Chat | Drawing My Rescue Kitten In A Tulip

My first sketchbook session! Also story time about how I ended up with an 8 day old kitten. I wanted to make a piece to remember the past few weeks. It's been a crazy month with her but we made it through. I wanted to make something with spring vibes and the first thing that came to mind was spring flowers. The proportions may be a little off so we're going to call this one surrealism 😁 Honestly though, not by much, she was really tiny!

I found a less than week old kitten and bottle raised it. And had to bottle raised a litter of four when Mama got mastitis . It is definitely like having a baby with the added responsibility of making them poop. She seems to be thriving in your care, so good job. Also, as far as Prismacolor goes, be on the lookout for when Michaels has 50% off coupons. That's the time to swoop on those expensive pencils. Still expensive, but not as bad. ☺️

Thank you! It was so stressful but I'm glad we made it through. She's doing great now and getting so big. I'll keep an eye out for that 50% 🤯
