    I added texture in the bedroom by (simply) using linen bedding. It contrasts nicely with the smooth finishing of the furniture.

    One of the rare videos that shows interior design in motion. Out of all the youtube designers I've checked out, your video has the highest percentage of creating rather than close-ups of the designer narrating a list of dos & dont's. Thank you!

    "Balance and Rhythm" is the hardest thing to accomplish, especially in a very small room. This is a great video, but I still need more help with this. How about creating a video showing a space that is unbalanced, then adding elements to that same space, showing how you would balance it out? I think this would help me learn to see the unbalance, (sometimes you know it's off but don't know why) then see exactly how you would bring it into balance. Your house is beautiful and you probably have some spaces you could use to demonstrate this.

      ....Yes, I agree.... there's not enough attention paid to small spaces, or how to actually " remedy the issue "....too many of these Channels show huge rooms, expertly styled rather than the Real Life of a majority of people......which is why I don't " Subscribe " .......

      Hi Janice! Thank you so much! I'm so happy it's helpful to you. I don't currently have a formal process for doing remote consults. If you have a question that I can answer fairly easily, you can ask it here in the comments. If it's a more involved process, send me a message (address in the About tab) and we can work something out for a remote consult. ~Liz

    Love your content & advice! If you have small windows and a high ceiling is there a distance that is “too high” to hang curtains? If windows are 7 ‘ tall but celling height 11’? That’s leaves a lot of blank wall that is draped in between ceiling & window.

    • @BalanceRhythm
      @BalanceRhythm  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! I'm so happy you're enjoying the content. Hanging curtains high is a great trick for making your windows appear taller too. Go high by hanging them about 6" from the ceiling. If the blank wall space bothers you, you can add a shade behind the curtains hung at the same height to give even more of an illusion of height.

    Would a large piece of art balance against an oversized (family size) bed? I’m trying to think of what would balance such a large piece of furniture

    • @BalanceRhythm
      @BalanceRhythm  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mariah! Do you mean a piece of artwork hung over the bed? If so, you could do a piece or several pieces that are about 2/3 to 3/4 the width of the bed. This brand has an example of how that could work: taylorandwells.com/the-family-bed/. Just make sure it's safe to hang art there i.e., are you in an earthquake area or do you have little ones that like to use the bed as a trampoline? Depending on how much additional space you have you can also balance with a substantial furniture piece, a tree or some large artwork elsewhere in the room. ~Liz

      Hi there! It's my pleasure. Thanks so much for watching. The image you're referring to is a stock image so I don't know the manufacturer of that particular table but I did find a similar one at Crate&Barrel. It's just one table that comes in only one size though. Here's the name and the link: Tom Charcoal Three-Legged Coffee Table by Leanne Ford rstyle.me/+KGbH3ZHy0ZlqjlaCBcT1Jg. If I can find the exact one I'll let you know. ~Liz
