This version of Beethoven"s violin concerto Op 61 in D Mayor is undoubtedly a masterpiece, Mr. Pritchin's interpretation is absolutely incredible, the sound of the notes he brings out from the instrument makes it unique, it's melody sounds sublime to my ears, he's pure perfection,he has an oustanding musical culture that makes him walk through a great repertoire, but without a doubt this is his most complete interpretation to me as he did in his Brahms violin concert too. From those of us who admire him, it is a fact that his stay at Germany made him explode musically. This WDR Orchestra never ceases to surprise, with many young people its sound was remarkable and Mr. Emelyanychev"s conducting is brilliant. The future of the violin is in the best hands because Mr. Pritchin is at the top of this game. Tnank so very much for such a lovely soiree.
Agreed. Far too long, not at all in keeping with the style of the composition, and not particularly interesting. It interferes with the continuity of the performance. Virtuosity can be better exhibited in other ways, as he may learn with experience.
@@leestamm3187 the beginning’s fine, and at some point, he’s coming back to the main theme. That’s where he needed to stop. After that, you feel that it’s getting too long

Aylen Pritchin, what a pleasant surprise. A very original interpretation/version from min 19 to 24 and other moments. I have never heard it before.

Tremendo!
😊

😌
43:00 That ending was not per Beethoven's notes
Cadenza’s way too long..

🧐🤔
