Hi Josh, because of your review I ordered a pair of Maku Sandals 8 Months ago. I paid for the sandals, but they never arrived, I didn‘t get my money back. They didn’t respond to my e-mails. Do you have a direct Contact to them?
Hi so sorry to hear things didn't go well with them. The sandals are innovative and really well made. One thing I remember about them is that the main 3 or 4 people there are all in different countries, and they were slow on communication. I will try the contact I have there for you; but first email me at jgreesonarts@gmail.com with some info... your first and last name, an order# if you have it, etc. Also, it might be a weird question, but what size did you order?
That was funny man ( my fat feet 🦶 are to wide For these guys ) i like that man. I understand that part man cuz i am with you on that. I have very very extremely wide feet 🦶 with very chubby fat wide toes myself. My big toe is over 2" inches wide & the rest of my toes are over 1" inches wide making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. So i am with you on fat wide feet 🦶 man. I am barefooted 👣 or wearing flip flops 🩴.I don't own a pair of shoes or socks because of how wide my feet 🦶 are. My flip flops 🩴 barely and I mean barely fit on my feet 🦶 because my toes are wider than the flip flops 🩴 straps. Both of my lil toes hang off the footbed of my flip flops 🩴 that how wide my feet 🦶 & toes are. I like the sandals because of how open the toes box area is & for somebody who has wide toes it let's your toes be wide like they need to be. But like you said i wish that they were a lot wider for people like us who have very wide feet 🦶 with fat wide toes. I would get me a pair but I no that they are not wide enough for my feet 🦶 which really suck man. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing it.
Such a shame that the Vegan friendly ones have this red on the upper sole, looks a bit out of place and to feminine to me, and strangely enough the male models on their side wear black models without the red it seems?
Apologies for the delay in response.. YT hasn't been giving me any comment notifications in over a week so I'm just now seeing this. Oh you mean the red footbed on the black sandal? I have to disagree that the red looks in any way feminine, but we all have our opinions--and if I was getting black sandals, I would prefer the footbed to be black just for the sake of not potentially clashing with an outfit I might want to wear with them. But as they are, they look fine to me. And I will say that these are extremely well made, durable, stylish, and generally a cut above in terms of thoughtfulness. I just wish they had some WIDER models, because these are best for people with narrower feet. They used to have a model with a black footbed; but I can't find it available for purchase on their website (although yes, as you mentioned, some of the pics on the website show people wearing them). I think they discontinued that model just before they sent me the sandals to review. But hey if you want black sandals, check out my video on the best barefoot sandals for 2023, and virtually every one of those companies is going to have a black sandal for you--and a couple of them have vegan options (I'm thinking of Feelgrounds, Geniale Sandale, Luna Sandals and Pies Sucios--all of whom have vegan options)! Check them out!
