It's nice to show that Toetems can be set like a couple of more well-known brands. I hope this shows that Toetems can be a great option for fans of these brands.
One thing that was not mentioned is how much more comfortable the Toetems can be. I have a pair of Shamma Warriors, Toetem Jackrabbit Earth (old style before they were modular) and Toetem "2.0" Coyote brown hemps.
Shamma does a lot right with their sandals; and I like them. However, I find that my Toetems adjust more easily, have a softer strap, and because they use a loop of the strap material instead of a plastic slide, they can be worn in more configurations without creating a pressure point where the straps meet. Shamma is only OK in this regard,. because you almost have to find the "sweet spot" where the slide and the nylon straps lie perfectly flat. The loop on Toetem adjusts easily, stays where you put it, and doesn't dig in to your foot if its not perfectly placed.
For my momey, my Toetem Jackrabbit Earths are the most comfortable sandals I've found. The leather and materials are very high quality and have only gotten more comfortable with use. I haven't gotten to use the Coyotes much yet, but got those more for beach/pool, because the hemp has good traction and can get wet, and the straps can convert to flip-flop mode to slide on and off.

Definitely appreciate the information on how to set the straps. Just one random question, Do the toetem sandals fit true to size or should you go half size up or down if you were a half size in regular tennis shoes?

Whatsup! We tend to run a little on the small side, up to a half size small. We offer print-off templates so that you can step on the sole outline and judge for yourself. You can find those at the link below: toetemsandals.com/pages/size-guide

I wish there was a toetem sandal that didn't have the square toebox. My footshape is much more curved down towards the pinky and since I'm so used to minimal barefoot shoes and sandals, this would cause me to trip a lot.
