Depends on which character you got first. Let’s say you got Nahida first and then Keqing, then your next character is guaranteed. If you got keqing first and then nahida, then you will be on 50/50

Sadly he is not. After you choose him you will need to win the 50/50. If you loose it you will get any character that appears on the Chronicled wish banner (so you might get a limited character, for example ganyu OR the standard characters that appear on THAT banner) and then you will have guaranteed Childe. Hope you win the 50/50 though!!
