Mavuika and Citlali will both receive banners in the first phase according to Full Stop Chan. This is something we have never seen before. Mihoyo putting two new 5 star characters in the same patch? yeah, that's something new.
The second phase will feature Arlecchino and Clorinde. This patch has to be one of the hardest patches for the F2P players. If you want both Mavuika and Arlecchino and don’t have enough Primogems saved, yeah, you’re definitely cooked here. Remember, Mavuika will come back 4 patches after her initial release. So, since she is getting a banner in version 5.3, she will definitely come back in version 5.7. On the other hand, who knows when Arlecchino will come back? Might take more than one year to come back, so choose wisely.
You really thought the banners would be hard to choose, huh? Guess what? Mihoyo will be adding a Liyue chronicled banner in version 5.3. Yeah, as I said before, if you’re a free-to-play player, you’re more than cooked at this point. Obviously, as the name suggests, this banner will feature only Liyue characters, except for Zhongli, Shenhe, Hutao, and Xianyun. Zhongli because he is an Archon, Shenhe and Xianyun because they haven’t had more than 3 event banners, and Hutao because she received a banner recently. Other than these characters, the banner will include the rest of the Liyue characters and their weapons.
Now moving to version 5.4. In this version, we will only see one new character. This character is Mizuki. You might be wondering.. who is this new character? Well remember Kimitsuki Ayano? Yeah, the new character who was supposed to be in version 5.4? That’s her playable name. Kimitsuki Ayano is just her CN name. Oh and Just yesterday, we received new information about her. Mizuki will be a 5-star Anemo character, and after version 5.4, she will join the standard banner. This info comes from Full Stop Chan, who is a reliable source. Since we’re getting close to version 5.4, obviously, we will be getting a lot of information about it. Mizuki is from Inazuma, and she will be the first Inazuma character to be in the standard banner. It’s a really good thing for Mihoyo to add new Inazuma characters to the standard banner because next year might be the release of the Inazuma chronicled banner. It would be weird but nice if the entire lineup of the chronicled banner would be the current Inazuma characters and no standard banner character.

Mizuki and Kokomi will be featured in the first phase banners, and as for Furina, if you have been following my videos, you already know she will be featured in the second phase banners.
As for the last character of the patch, it will be Wriothesley. Wriothesley has been absent for one year, and he is the only Fontaine character who was released early and hasn’t received a banner. Honestly, I’m starting to think Mihoyo is doing this on purpose. They have been holding on to Cryo characters and not letting them have a banner. For example, Shenhe and Wriothesley. Mihoyo has been keeping them behind bars for a while now. But to be honest, we’re getting closer to seeing their banners. Remember, if you’re trying to get Citlali, make sure to grab her when version 5.3 drops. She will also get the Cryo treatment, maybe not coming back for more than one year. You never know what’s up with Mihoyo these days.

As a new Genshin player who is actually obsessed with the game, this is really useful information. I want to get so many characters, but I have to be a bit selective and not impulse buy every new character. I might skip Mavuika for now just because you told me she'll get a rerun soon even though I like her design and kit.

Anyway the information isn't certain yet so although some things might actually be true, perhaps the Inazuma character, since it's been mentioned a lot, it's name or element might not be accurate, just wait until you find either a 'meta' character you like or just one who is both good and one of your favorites

I did buy Shenhes skin recently (I was debating about it bc I like her standard outfit). I already own her (got her on her first run). I'm definitely planning on pulling for Citlali and skipping Mavuika until her rerun. Who knows when Hoyoverse will give Cryo Citlali a rerun.^^;

@@nimmahdawilah Depends on who you like more and/or can better fit in your team. Arle is a damage dealer and really cool but not everyone loves her game mechanics. Citlali is cryo and cryo is an element Hoyo doesn't really like to push so she might be harder to fit into a team. Apparently she's really good with Mavuika but you'd have to get her too. I still like cryo and I think Citlali has a really cute character design so I will pull for her (because she's cryo she might not get a rerun soon) but I already have Arlecchino so I personally don't have to decide between the two.^^

I've been saving for kokomk for a long while, I have over 40k primos saved. Her taking a long time to rerun as given me the chance to get all of her mats so whenever mihoyo reruns her she'll be lvl 90 the moment I get her😂

Man i lost my 50/50 to qiqi but at 30 pity and spend another 60 pulls for c6 fichl but got c0 fishle and c4 yao yao and c0 heizou no neuvilette but i have no primogen left but i need a suggestion i have my hu tao and raiden as main dps and both are good build but i lack good supports so should i get neuvilette or get citlali or Mauvika since i am gurrented to get a limited 5 star in only 30 pulls

I currently have 311 pulls. My goal is to get Mavuika at C0 and her weapon. With whatever pulls I have left, I’ll go for Arlechino’s weapon. I hope to save up enough during the Christmas break grind and that it’s enough to get everything I want.
During Natlan trailer last 4.8 Livestream, I already decided to save and pull for Citlali even if I heard that she's a 4 star, but during 5.1 archon quest and phase 1 5.2, I'm even more excited to pull for her after knowing her personality and know she's a 5 star and a good addition for my Pyro and Hydro DPS.

@nimmahdawilah I have no idea what to pull for pyro DPS. However, limited banner pyro DPS is much better than a standard banner. If you want to pick a power creep pyro DPS, then pull Arlecchino. If you're like me who pulls for characters based on how cute they are, or because you like their JP VA, then save for Hu tao next rerun. I actually don't have Eula, but I have Ayaka since she's cuter.
Also about Hydro DPS, I actually always skip Neuvilette because Nilou is cuter, and I prefer Mualani over Neuv because she's cuter too. But since you're a woman, I think you prefer pulling for husbandos, not waifus. Lmao🤣

Shenhe's skin looks great, but I'll never get it because I don't need Shenhe. I just really hope that Lanyan is in Citlali's banner. I don't want to "have to" pull for Citlali and Lanyan in separate banners. But I really want to have both and really hope that Lanyan is a DPS character 😬

i get neuvillette in 40 pulls in first 20 pulls i lost 50/50 but in the next 20 pulls i get him not pulling for his weapon, im soo happy 😉
