    Next time you’re out there try the “spiral route” on the blue trails! Cold Springs has some tech but it’s so slow with all the switchbacks. The Mt. Constitution trails is high speed fairly mellow hiker single track which is fun to fly down.

    Yes, Cold Springs is kind of a generic trail and the corkscrew route down the blue trail is so much longer and more enjoyable. Also, stronger riders can definitely leave their car in Anacortes and take Dolphin bay road on the island to avoid the traffic. And then take the singletrack to the top up the very steep and switchbacky Twin Lakes trail. After that the road climb doesn't seem that bad on the second lap up :)

    Crazy! My gal and i walked the 2.7 mile cascade lake loop yesterday friday 4/15! I was wondering who poached it! Lol. I didnt ride this vacation. Im from Portland with my gal. I appreciate your channel brother \m/

      Thanks, man! I definitely wasn’t poaching the hiking trail, though. They made it pretty obvious at the entrance that bicycles are not allowed.

    I think power line trail is open year round unless I'm mistaken. It's on my list of trails to ride.

      Sort of. Supposedly they won't bother people on powerline during the summer, but also don't provide an open trail to access it...
