  • Qi, pronounced as Chi, sounds foreign to modern audiences but is essential for health and life in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). In this short video, Dr. Yang explains the meaning of Qi and clarifies the confusion people have in mind.

    Very true Dr.
You can speak English fluently and express yourself very well!
But the stuff you talk about is less substantial. Like unnecessarily prolonged Qi here and consuming listeners' time.
    Very smart of you!

    感謝楊醫師,我不會用英文解釋古老傳統的東方文化,這正好能讓我分享給外國朋友看。

Very educational video Dr. Yang. I started practicing what I learned so far about the Qi energy and I feel the benefits of it. There is too much to learn about it. Ancient Andean culture has similar approach to healing; therefore, I am a fervent believer in the alternative medicine practice. Nevertheless, there are many situations in which immediate action must be taken in a hospital in an emergency situation. Thank you for your clear explanation!

Please do many more videos explaining TCM....So hard to find info...interested now especially in terms such as "improves weakness of spleen & collapse of qi in the middle burner" am using Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan pills for pelvic prolapse....it helps...but am a little afraid because I think it is made in China....which supposedly can be very unsafe! Why do they not manufacture these medicines in North America ( I live in Canada). Thank you for your well done videos.....Do more please

My Chinese co-worker says I have good Qi because plants seem to grow a lot around me in our office. She said something about a plant Qi. Can someone tell me more about this? I’m so interested!

it means your office is full of natural energy(kind of Qi). like oxygen is needed for plants, human needs Qi as well.
