3 വർഷം (ഷെയർ മാർക്കറ്റ്) കമ്മോഡിറ്റി ഡീലർ ആയി കൊച്ചിയിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യ്തു, ജോലി ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ട് ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ സ്വന്തമായി ട്രേഡ് ചെയ്ത് കടം ആയി, അത് വീട്ടാൻ ഗൾഫിൽ പോയി, 6 വർഷം കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട് കടങ്ങൾ വീട്ടി ഒരു 15 ലക്ഷം രൂപയോളം സമ്പാദിച്ചു,. ഈ പറഞ്ഞ സംഭവം നടക്കുന്നത് വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുൻപാണ്. തിരിച്ചു വന്നു ട്രേഡിങ് തുടങ്ങി, ആ 15 ലക്ഷവും പോയി, എന്നിട്ടും ഞാൻ പഠിച്ചിട്ടില്ല, ഇപ്പോളും 10000 രൂപ കിട്ടിയാൽ അപ്പോൾ ട്രേഡിങിൽ ഇൻവെസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യ്യും, ക്യാഷ് പോയത് കൊണ്ട് കല്യാണം പോലും കഴിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയില്ല, ഇന്നും ട്രേഡ് ചെയുന്നുണ്ട്, പോയ ക്യാഷ് തിരിച്ചു പിടിക്കാൻ, ഒരിക്കലും നടക്കില്ല എന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും... ഇത് ഒരു ലഹരി ആണ്, പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് കാര്യമില്ല, എന്റെ ജീവിതം പോയതാണ്, ....ഇപ്പൊ 18 വർഷം പരിജയം ഉണ്ട് ഈ ഷെയർ ട്രേഡിങിൽ,. ക്യാഷ് പോയി പോയി മനസ്സ് കല്ല് പോലെ ആയി, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വല്ല ആത്‍മഹത്യ ചെയ്തു പോയെനെ, എനിക്ക് ഇപ്പോൾ ബാധ്യതകൾ ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാ, ബാധ്യത ഉള്ള ഒരാള് ആയിരുന്നു ഞാൻ എങ്കിൽ ഇപ്പൊ ഈ കമന്റ് ഇടാൻ ഞാൻ ഉണ്ടാകുമായിരുന്നില്ല, പറഞ്ഞത് എല്ലാം സത്യസന്ധമായ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ആണ്... വിശ്വസിക്കാം വിശ്വസിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കാം...

I really love and appreciate your work. I really admire Porinju sir's guts and knowledge when he take big positions in companies. However I don't beleive in his Investment philosophy nowadays. He never takes calculated risk whenever he takes big stakes in companies (For example - GVK power, Leel electricals) all were debt burden companies and ROIC below the expected returns. Earlier he used to pick companies with quality management etc...but later on his way Investment philosophy changed.

Dear Sharique, Many Thanks for the information. I am not sure about the authenticity of the info. you have collected when you said 33 % CAGR for his investors. I am one of his clients since 2016 and is quite impressed with his ideas and style of operation. The CAGR of my investments was negative till few months back (after about five and half years) and now it has come up to about 10 %. At one stage the investment had gone down to 36 % (came down to one third after five years of investment, mostly due to the pandemic). In my case at least, the growth had never crossed the CAGR of Sensex ! The CAGR of Sensex is over 15 %, from the date of beginning of my investment with him, where as that of my investment is only about 10 % !!!
