Could have been poison, could have been bad terrain (riverlands are wet) or maybe he just got a little too drunk the night before. Or maybe Peter got a real life critical hit who fucking knows either way I've been waiting for this one for a while.
Hidden Blursed Timeline: Petyr Baelish trains under the Blackfish in Riverrun, and becomes a great knight. With no WOFK, Baelish covers himself in glory in the conflict against the Lannisters after Robert finds out about Cersei and Jaime, and personally slays Kevan Lannister one on one. He is put in as commander of the Bloody Gate and one of the finest knights the Vale has ever seen
What if Stannis became King and married Cersei? Robert succumbed to his injuries after the Battle of the trident and died, making Stannis King and marrying Cersei. What if Robert had Stannis be Hand instead of Jon Arryn? What if *Part Two* to Robb & Myrcella? What if Jaime saved Elia Martell & the children? What if Balon Greyjoy join Robb Stark? What if Gerold Hightower or Varys kill The Mad King while Jamie was at the Tower Of Joy? What if Ned won agents Jaime at the Tower Of Joy? What if Rhaelle Baratheon, the grandmother of Robert, Stannis & Renly was still alive during Robert’s Rebellion? What if Robert Baratheon has a Trueborn daughter by Cersei Lannister? What if the *Cordyceps* from *The Last Of Us* was in Westeros?
Holy shit I've been wanting this particular what if for 6 and 1/2 years All it took was me requesting it on five different channels thank you my dude you just earned that sub I mean you already had it but still
But yeah if I had to think of a Future What If idea one that comes to mind is "What if the Battle of the Trident ended in a mutual kill?" Robert's side ultimately emerges victorious, but both Robert and Rhaegar fall at the Ruby Ford. I say this because this is the only scenario I see a young Stannis ascending the Iron Throne. Stannis in his own way was a lot more spiteful than Robert. While he wouldn't want to preemptively exterminate the remaining Targaryen's, one of the first things he does is punish Mace Tyrell for nearly starving out him and his people out of revenge. Maybe he doesn't strip the Tyrells entirely of their Lord Paramount status but Mace himself definitely gets punished with a young Willas becoming the new head of the family. Similarly, he definitely would not pardon Jaime either. Maybe send him to the Wall. And the Mountain definitely dies. Though I tihnk regardless of who Stannis takes as a wife, there's going to be a succession crisis because Stannis is shooting up blanks. If he only has a daughter in this timeline like in canon and assuming he's the one who gets assassinated instead of Jon Arryn, I'd expect a House of the Dragon 2.0 scenario because Renly would definitely make a powergrab since the realm would not be on board with a female heir.
I would like to see a what if scenario where Jamie Slays Robb Stark in the battle of the Whispering Wood which would be sad but that be an interesting one
what if the red keep accidentally blew up at the beginning of the main series books, like a cat knocks over a pot or something at the same time lysa poisons jon arryn, leaving shireen as the only trueborn baratheon alive and harry the hier in charge of the vale, among other important characters dieing
Theres another way i feel like baelish couldnwin without as much luck, Brandon basically picks him up by his collar after disarming his sword and is trying to make him surrender or throw him into the dirt but while hes held up swordless and his guard is down littlefinger pulls a dagger from behind his back and stabs it into Brandond neck
Littlefinger: Chaos is a ladder. Rheagar: I will calmly and patiently explain to the Starks than Lyanna and I eloped together, thereby maintaining peace for my dynasty. Littlefinger: Inconsiderate little twerp! I want my ladder, so I can climb!
I was assuming he would use some underhanded tactics to beat Brandon, kind of like bronn but on steroids. On second thought, maybe westeros has something that could work like steroids? Honestly I just want to see ripped littlefinger
Love you videos! especially ones like this where one character death changes everything. What if Cersei died before the start of song of ice and fire? either in child birth or even earlier before the rebellion. She is responsible in one way or another for the death of so many characters and if we go by the show everyone she loved too.
Doran did not want war, so he wouldn't support the Starks militarily. Besides, the Dornish are not as good at fighting on foreign soil, so they wouldn't be that great of an asset anyway.
@@BrainyBlonde21 Hoster was eager to see her wed after the moon tea incident, which doesn't happen if Petyr isn't bedridden after losing. And if there's no rebellion, there's no need to marry her off quickly.
@ okay. Doesn’t Jon still need an heir though? Maybe it doesn’t happen right away, but the marriage/alliance could still happen. Or maybe Rhaegar releases Jamie from the king’s guard since it was obviously a spite appointment and Lysa ends up betrothed to him again.
Assuming that LF wins by sneaky means but gets kicked out regardless, I can see him starting a Baratheon/Lannister/Dorne alliance to counterbalance the Tully/Targaryen/Arryn/Stark one
What if Ygritte survived the attack on Castle Black? What if Renly backed Stanis' claim to the Iron throne? What if Viserys' alliance with Dorne was realised successfully?
I bet Rhaegar didn't annul his first marriage, and I bet that Jon's name isn't actually "Aegon." Rhaegar said that the dragon has three heads, and Elia could only have two children or risk dying. He wouldn't just cast aside the first two and annul the marriage or refuse them of their Targaryen name, however, as that would remove the two heads of the dragon he had already created. I bet he studied the histories of Aegon and his two wives and decided that he must follow in his footsteps in taking two wives in order to have the third head of the dragon and a third child. The reason he chose Lyanna was maybe due to her performance at the tournament showing her strength in battle, inspiring him to want to choose her to make another baby, or he chose her for her northern Stark "ice" blood to mix with his Targaryen "fire," hoping to create a child born of fire and ice and fulfilling the prophecy in his mind, finally having the third head of the dragon and hopefully one of them being the prince that was promised in the prophecies. When that child came around eventually, I don't think he or Lyanna would have decided to name him Aegon since Rhaegar's son was already named that, but he might have gone with a different name. Since he already had two of the conquerors names for his children, maybe he planned for a third: if a girl, Visenya; if a boy, some other variation on that name, or perhaps a name likening to a past Targaryen king (since his little brother was Viserys, the most common male variation of the Visenya name, he might want to avoid have two Viserys at once).
What if Rhaenyra married the prince of Dorne and not Lenore? What if the tragedy at Summerhall didn't happen and Aegon V managed to bring back the dragons? What if Rhaegar dethroned his father in the harrenhall tournament? What if arya married a frey before the red wedding? Meagor part 3
What if Robb joind Stannis What if Robb married frey What if Theon stayed loyal. What if Rhaenrya went to rooks rest part 2. What if Aemond killed Dameond. What if greens won dance of dragons. What if Tywin survied what if Balon invaded westerlands. What if Robb joind Vale.
Brandon must’ve been blind, deaf, and crippled in this fight. Aint no way Littlefinger pulling this out legit
Or Littlefinger poisoned him before hand.
I was also thinking poison

Okay this is both hilarious and extremely compelling
Me starting the video: Ooooooh I bet this is gonna be all war and Littlefinger chaos
Me at the end of the video: huh. Well that sounds nice actually

Yes!

Either the Gods were on his side or he flat out cheated
Probably the latter
Glad you mentioned Willem vs Jerrell. I was thinking the same thing!

What if daemon and caraxes lived
lol yes!. The magical beings of the isle of faces transplanted a bit of Caraxes heart into Daemon's just like in the film Dragonheart
19:00 I highly doubt she would still die. She will have the best Maesters, midwives, and no stress from the situation
I thought that too.
what if rickard stark got a trial by combat
Just for fun. What if his time as prisoner at Duskendale made Aerys sane?
lol 😂

Rheagar: I will calmly and patiently explain to the Starks than Lyanna and I eloped together, thereby maintaining peace for my dynasty.

Realistic name for Jon in my option is Aemon or Viserys
But my favor is Visenyon ( male version of Visenya And similar as Balerion or Valerion )

I’d love for you to continue if Daemon has a son to go to part 3.
THANK YOU!!! Someone finally did my idea ❤
You should do what if Brandon Stark manage to grab the sword and save his father.
That if lord commander mormont lived
We still waiting for part 3 of daerons revenge
Thank you so much

Doran did not want war, so he wouldn't support the Starks militarily. Besides, the Dornish are not as good at fighting on foreign soil, so they wouldn't be that great of an asset anyway.
what if renly struck while the castle sleeps? (with or without ned's help)
With Ned's help, it would have been the triumvirate of Ned, Renly, and Littlefinger ruling King's Landing.
[ you forgot he could use poison on his sword ]
Lysa is a dangling thread
Couldn’t she still potentially end up with Jon Arryn? Even if she eventually murders him, it wouldn’t have the same ramifications.

I think the only way that this could happen is if Petyr poisons Brandon the night before, which actually seems feesable, ngl
Poisoned blade. Brandon takes off his armor and all Littlefinger has to do is land one decent slash.
what if rhaegar had lost to Arthur Dayne at Heron Hall
Stark name would be disrespectful for generations of LF beat Brandon
