Rob, I hope you see this. I started playing guitar at 16, in 2008. After my first year, I started listening to metal when I found Resurrection. Needless to say, I know many of your riffs by heart and consider you one of my greatest influences. Thank you.
I've called your style of riffs "Chuck Norris Riff" for years. It's a great reference while writing songs. "this song needs one more Chuck Norris riff!"
Rob, thank you! Banging riffs! That Nothing Remains riff that you played, beautiful riff, love those hammer-on's amd pull-off's in that riff, they add so much character and badassness to that riff. Kinda hard to choose fave riffs from Chimaira songs haha, cuz Chimaira is essentially a riff feast...but some sick riffs that come to my mind from the lesser known Chimaira songs (by general public that maybe just knows the hits) are some of those hot riffs from Save Ourselves (the main sliding riff, the pre-solo riff, and that riff after solo after Mark shouts "Why do your fear everyone of us?" and the drumming pattern and kick-work of Kevin with that riff is extremely awesome), the intro Frozen in Time riff and also the riff before the vocals come in again at the end, and the outro brutal riff of Secrets of the Dead. Man, that makes me wanna go back and listen to all those gem of the songs and albums again right now haha! cheers

First off outstanding and shocked at some of the riff's that you played to some of the sings that I wasn't expecting you to play. Some old classic's there with "Left for dead, Impending damn and crawl". Year of the snake. Always loved that riff and I have watched the video many times. Mark swinging the mic, that most of been fun. No reason to live another great riff. Now Nothing remains. This song will always stand out to be one of Chimaira best riff's of all time for me. Lazarus. This riff is just super heavy and looking easy to play. Six. Just love the way that you and mark came together to play this live. Kill the son. My first time seeing you playing and loved it. Then you pull a rabbit out of the hat with "Eyes of a criminal" make me jump out of my seat. Sure a great riff to that song and If I'm right a song that Jim wasn't so keen on playing. Goddamn criminal. Now this riff as to be done in full one day I think. The disappearing sun. What a great riff to this is and the lyrics make it. Gun to your head. Loved the way that you barred the riff with hammer on's. Jump in the fire. I played this the same way as you, but played it on the 5th and 7th instead. Black as can be. Lovely riff and another Quick riff to play in the near future . So that is all I have to say Rob. Only one thing to finish off with and that is I watched the bids for the last hoodie that you placed on Ebay and If I'm right the last bid that I seen was $167 dollars ? or did it finish off higher ? My bass player has the 5 string version of that bass, that we use for the drop b songs. It’s surprisingly a pretty good sounding bass! Thro a darkglass pedal with it, and it rips

Literally learned lazarus just under a week ago.... Until I snapped the g string 🤣 Also one question for you Rob, where can I buy the 11 52 Dr strings you use? I've looked everywhere for them and I can't find them anywhere in the UK unfortunately

Hey Rob, quick question... on Nothing Remains, when you transition from the intro riff into the variation before the verse with the shredding, do you shred on the 5th or 6th fret?? (the riff with the "chimaira chord" on the 4th fret)
Rob! Where can I find an ESP signature model at?. Not an LTD but an ESP. I've always dreamed of owning that guitar and I'm finally able to but always wanted to have an ESP over an LTD.
Unfortunately the all ESP versions of my guitars are my personal custom models. The only ones that were available were my ltd RA-600's, that are based off of my custom RA-3. I don't think I could ever part with one of my customs!

Unfortunately it's a custom set, so I don't think you'd be able to order the exact gauges. Before I switched to DR though, I used Dean Markley Blue steels, and you CAN get my exact gauges with them.

Hey Rob, quick question... on Nothing Remains, when you transition from the intro riff into the variation before the verse with the shredding, do you shred on the 5th or 6th fret?? (the riff with the "chimaira chord" on the 4th fret)

Rob! Where can I find an ESP signature model at?. Not an LTD but an ESP. I've always dreamed of owning that guitar and I'm finally able to but always wanted to have an ESP over an LTD.
Unfortunately the all ESP versions of my guitars are my personal custom models. The only ones that were available were my ltd RA-600's, that are based off of my custom RA-3. I don't think I could ever part with one of my customs!
