I have the same lights but I’m not getting as much ground as yours. I mounted the same spots you got. But maybe it’s 2022 seat on the Grom sitting a lil flatter than the 2018. Blue lights on yellow Grom.
Hey Joey, what to do mean you tapped into the tail light? I understand when the light comes on the switch gets power. When the toggle is off does the taillight now not turn on? If you understand what I mean.
Ok what i did was my rear lights are tapped into the back lights. easy to access the wires, the plastic panel under the lights pull right off;. they come on anytime the bike is running.. my front lights are on a toggle switch with wires going straight to the battery.. I only use them at night
For the underglow you wont need any relay my friend, Just mount the pods and run the wires to a two pole switch and run it over to the battery.. The rock leds pull such low current a relay isnt needed. just do a good job insulating your connectors and you are good to go bro - Joey

What’s the best option to wire that in, what would you tap into for that? I have a handlebar switch I am wanting to use, is that something I could run directly to the battery? Any feedback would be appreciated! I’ll probably do this rock light mod too!! Awesome!
Hey bro. the 6 inch LED bar im not sure what kind of light it will throw. The Rock pods fit anywhere and i use dual lock tape with no drilling holes. easy to reverse if i decide to sell the bike.. I run the light directly to battery with a 2 way switch spliced into the power line. Mount the switch where ever you like .. I just added Magenta Purple to my Suzuki Burgman Scooter and BAM! that is a blast to ride at night Out on the Las Vegas Strip! - Thanks for watching ( Joey)
If you wired it up without a switch then it will stay on and never go off thus killing your battery.. All you need to do is buy a toggle switch with 2 poles and run it either on the positive or neg wire to the battery.. Lights will only get power if you flip the switch... but you have to remember to flip the switch back off but thats easy because when you get off your bike at night you can see the lights glowing.. my video shows where the switch was mounted.. it was pretty easy.. like 15-20 min to do
I did this on my MSX here in Bangkok....talk about a big difference in visibility to other motorists on the road!
