hey Ziet, curious for US live market data movements/prices which platform do ppl usually use ? IBKR needs us to pay for live market data. I currently use yahoo finance but want something more "proper" for LIVE data and Free. Thinking of signing TD ameritrade just to get it for more technical analysis.. but will be quite tedious to sign up.. Any reccomendations ? Thanks ! P.S : I already have IB, just not willing to pay for data 😅 will try out TIKR tho
Hi JC, usually people use TradingView for that, IBKR does have free live data for NYSE and NASDAQ although its just level 1 data. You can also try Moomoo's platform that provides free US data for free, if you sign up using my referral link (Their sign up is really fast and easy): j.moomoo.com/00JRcf From there you can download their desktop platform and perform charting etc., even without funding your account! :)

Hi there, I personally think its not a good idea, reason because you won't know why the person buy and sell, plus you might be copying someone that performs well in the short term, but might underperform in the long term, so for what its worth, for the benefit of your long term learning and training your mindset & emotions for long-term investments, its best to do it yourself and do it slowly!
