Genuinely curious, why don't these trailers have a drain and sump system built in? That way you could capture most of the liquid waste and not have it accumulating on walking surfaces or spilling out of the trailer?
The most I’ll do is 2-3 loads in between washouts. Not a big worry with disease spread with cows. You have to worry about it with pigs. I pull lots of calves so I washout very frequently
I used to clean my pot out with a garden hose, I only dreamed of that kind of pressure and volume. It used to take me a good solid couple hours to clean mine. Nice work cowboy.
Y’all have the nicest trailer, you only understand if you been in the situation great job. Still watching and started thinking about all that fertilizer being washed away.
Happy to see someone cleans their trailer. Was behind a guy with a load of pigs the other day, there was a steady stream of "stink"coming out the back of the trailer. Those poor piggy's must have had the squirts. The guy left a trail down the highway.
That trailer needs an acid dip or a good degreaser/disinfectant/grime foam cleaner and a stiff bristled push broom or two. To get it showroom clean. Along with a regular cleaning schedule to keep it clean.
After having to wash out this trailer, you must have built up an awesome immune level.😊 it really takes a very special person to do this job. More power to you.
Sir, you are amazing. And just to image, you are a vital part of someone’s desire to have a nice steak dinner (regardless of where), or a burger, or even Taco Bell. Much respect!
Vaughan, there are several comments the wash water from the trailer and how it contaminates the ground water in the area and also why don't you use the water for fertilizer. Please correct me if I am wrong. This particular facility has a gradient slope that moves the waste water towards a series of pipes and pumps and a huge storage tank we used to use for holding waste water. The green fields behind the wash stalls is a testament of where the waste water goes and what it is used for. Those tanks can hold about 30-50k gallons of water.
It's a dirty job, I've done it before. I worked for a wash out for livestock trailers. The worst is in, the winter time. Specially if the driver has been on, the road without a load on. Cause it gets frozen down and harder to get cleaned.. good job driver
My husband and I were headed to KCMO for a doctor's appointment for me a few months ago and we were on I-49/MO 71 north bound and passed a livestock hauler with cows. One cow apparently had their butt right against one of those airflow holes just as we were passing. And it wasn't air that we received all along the passenger side of my car. 😅 It was cow diarrhea!! But it STILL smelled like fresh farm country.😂 Had to wash my car once we got back home. 😮
You need Mike Rowe on your show 😂 I used to do farming with a pitchfork and a bobcat. Years later I was restoring brick with a pressure washer and acid treatment. You put the two together I bet you get the best skin care 😍
Buddy is the reason for the e. Coli break outs! Why would you let it get this bad? Are you transporting 3 time the load each run? How long did this take to build up. We need answers 😂
We have Yard Sprinklers Tie-Strapped to our roof in Cattle Trailer. Hook them up and let it thin it down for a hour or so before going to clean. Helps a bit and keeps it soft.
Yep, there's a cow hauler that never took the time to clean his trailer out until he had to and ppl don't seem to understand alot States will write u up and charged u for dumping cow manure on public roads as hazardous waste
How much poo? *ALL of it.* Should've just had DOT Biohazard decals on the trailer and a warning sign with an orange background reading "POLITICAL PROMISES ON BOARD".
I’m going to be honest for the first 10 seconds of this video I was yelling at VDV not to put his hand in that shit. Then when he said he has his limits to I said ok he is human. LMAO!! I have a much more appreciation for what goes into throwing a steak on the grill! Keep up the great videos Vaughn..
This video is NOT for people who have OCD. At the 12:15 mark even i had to hold my phone back from my face because i didn't want any splash flying back in my face. Best believe i sanitized my phone after this video fr
what is your water hose size? any idea what the pressure and gallons per minute is? how is the hose feed? was just curious because that is impressive! thanks!
Running a cattle trailer is my dream job and this gives good insight. P.S. if you were raised on a ranch like me you have probably had this in your mouth because a cow kicked it up and you would probably think the manure smells good because you are so used to the smell
Vaughan, in a previous post you said a general washout is all that is required by the majority of your shippers with the exception of the pig farmers. On the rare occasion that you do the deep cleaning to remove the residue would you mind taking a before and after to compare the difference?
Oh yes, the side of cattle hauling people don't see. New subscriber. Stay safe out there driver. Dude i was reading these comments and you have some real winners in here😂
Lived the experience. Even wearing full PPE gear didn't totally prevent the smell of some of the stuff I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with in chemical cleaning. Clothing was the least of our concerns. On some occasions we had to put our own clothes in the Hazmat Disposal Receptacles. The key issue is/was to know what you were dealing with. If in doubt, suit up and wash up when you finish.
How long as it taken for the trailer to get this bad its from floor to the roof Seen some mucky trailers but this was bad In Britain by law it as to be done every load
I have posted this a couple of times and perhaps I missed your reply. You are pretty good at replying to our questions in a timely manner. For the lack of a better word I would use "Deep Cleaning" In an average year how many times do you take your trailer in to be "Deep Cleaned" Remove residuals on the walls and floor. Since they can't use chemicals, do they use Ultra High Pressure Water and or Steam?
The underside is washed at a regular truck wash. And I clean the ports and wheel wells really good as well just haven’t ever recorded that. And there are some places that do high pressure. Normally I just go somewhere with hot water and that solves it
Never seen anyone clean UP a set of steps before??? Rule of thumb used to be clean from the top down. Idk Must be some new fangled trend I don't know about.
When you’re standing down in the belly of the trailer, those panels above your head that make out the other floor what do you haul when you use those panels sheep or pigs or something maybe goats?
Does anyone know about how much a trailer like this cost ? I'm just curious.it's a fancy one and all aluminum so I know it's got to cost a damn good penny but if anyone knows could you please tell me.thank you.
I was wondering why the local car wash was smelling kinda odd. Hmm, now i know them cows shit themselves after going 80 miles an hour down the highway . 😂😂😂
When you used the hammer without gloves to open some closure and the poop started splashing in your hand and forearm I was really pushed to my limits, it was hard to go on on with the video 🤣 and btw, may I buy you a pair of gloves?
“Even I have my limits” Do you sir? Do you really? Because you seem very limitless in this video😂
LMAO
That's what I was thinking no gloves or respirator he's got more guts then me cause I'd be throwing up 🤮 bout 6 times while cleaning it out 😂
How does shit get way up the wall like that damn cows had A explosion didint they like a shit grenade went off
@@MichaelWilliams-vb6wrTo funny but true!!🫣🤣🤣🤣
Ever see a cow get artificial insemination? That's another limit!
Let's all take a moment and appreciate the fact that we can't smell the overwhelming stench that must be radiating from that trailer.
Can't figure out why these washout videos are so much fun to watch. Kinda relaxing. I really appreciate the work you do to help keep us fed.
How long were the animals Locked in there, a month?
Legally, they have to be unloaded every 48 hours
Nothing is more satisfying than watching someone clean up a trailer full of poop.
Genuinely curious, why don't these trailers have a drain and sump system built in? That way you could capture most of the liquid waste and not have it accumulating on walking surfaces or spilling out of the trailer?
Why don’t you start at the top and wash everything down?
How many trips were made with trailer before your cleaning??
No gloves no goggles no face mask no apron. Why even wear boots? Should just do it barefoot.
seriously its like some people never heard of diseases
You should give crying a shot.
Goddamn cowboys!
@@bakerbbyotch would you do this job neked?

I won't ever complain about dirt and wood clips in my trailer again. I clean it out with a leaf blower. Lol. Have a great day.
I used to clean my pot out with a garden hose, I only dreamed of that kind of pressure and volume. It used to take me a good solid couple hours to clean mine. Nice work cowboy.

About time someone recognizes the psi as impressive

Hi I have a question. How much cows does that trailer hold and how far was the drive? Wow that’s a lot of stuff
I don't know why I can't stop watching this.
I am annoyed that the walls don't get as clean as the floor 😔
That was a good rinse...now for the pressure washer. Ahh the life of a cattleman. And this folks is how beef ends up on your plate.😂
I have a personal question. How much does a beginner get paid to clean cow Poo Poo? Every month, thank you.

Do you wash the underside of your trailer where your drain ports are located?
I believe you could use a metal cutting water nose from those CNC mills and you still wouldn't get all that crap off the walls.
