I have a place in northern Mich, I was riding an atv on a fire trail when I noticed was once a gate. I went to check it out and it was an old grave yard and many of the graves had caved in. I went home got a mower and cleaned up and mowed the cemetery. Made me feel good

You and your mom are Special..
No two ways about it. A few years ago I adopted a small cemetery. With stones back to 1600! It was a great feeling to care for it....

I saw a grave from the first video, that had a little lamb on the top of the headstone. My great, great grandfather was the one who invented that little lamb especially for the little ones that passed. A great idea!

Please let the new owner know that if she is paying taxes on the cemetery land she can have the state designate that part of her land as a cemetery and the taxes will be removed. But she will still be the owner. Good work and God bless you and your partner.

By the size of the area designated as a cemetery and what the gentleman in the truck said, the stones for the "missing" graves were probably standing originally but fell flat and are now buried under a few inches of dirt. A day spent poking every foot or so in a grid pattern would likely locate most, if not all, of them.

D2 biological cleaner is the preferred way to clean moss and mold from old headstones. I think that it’s sold at Home Depot. Maybe the local genealogy society could clean those now that you’ve done such a nice job on the grounds.

I love cemeteries, and I love Find A Grave. I have thousands and thousands of memorials. Many years ago I went to the Russian cemetery near San Francisco to take photos of all of the headstones because many were my relatives. What a joy to see family. I went on find a grave and creating memorials for each one of the headstones and even the ones that did not have a marker. So I command your work with the cemetery because it's a very old cemetery and should be looked after. There are so many cemeteries that are lost buried in the woods. Take sensitive people do you understand the importance of keeping a graveyard cleared.

Common in cemeteries is foot stones, they are small and have no markings or initials. Be extremely careful with your heavy riding mowers. They can break through the coffins of past years. Not all graves are 6 feet deep, I was working in a pioneer cemetery and hit a coffin 12 inches deep. Some States have laws that specifically govern cemeteries. Do your research. Bless you for caring of the dead.❤❤❤ 🤗🤗👍👍. Your killing me ,Brute discussion 😂😂, mom's look on her face 😂😂. Yes its a Walnut, Squirrels will move them acres away from the tree and store for Winter, I'm always finding them in my yard and it's a half mile from my house to the nearest Walnut Tree, have you two been out in the heat too long? 🤣🤣 You are so funny.
