    I've had people try to explain the process but this video helps a lot. I just did my hat along with the video. Thanks for the help!

      I have known many new Drill Sergeants that destroyed their hats because it was poly'd wrong. I'm glad the video helps.

    Aahh...the smell of poly while my drill was all in my face. there is indeed a unique smell when the drill polys his campaign cover.

    I was a DS at Ft Leonardwood in 1994. We did not poly our hats back then. Looks like a delicate operation. Those hats are not cheap. $110-150 a piece.

    You could probably use this technique for Cowboy hats.

    Subjecting viewers to a 5 minute intro is wild. We are DS’s, you act like we have a ton of spare time

    This video can’t possibly get harder to watch…wind starts blowing. Ok, NOW it can’t get harder to watch…guy finally gets to the demo and stands in the light, blocking whatever he’s doing.

      @HalfRightFaceProductions  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not sure. The fabric looks to thin. The poly will probably bleed threw.
