Legitimately one of the scariest monsters. Stares right into your soul (literally, he breaks the fourth wall).

It would be even scarier if during the battle, after he opens his eyes you hear a faint 'I see you' in the background.
For some reason, this thumbnail/background art is actually less scary to me than the actual in-game figure.
Probably cause here, it's just reaching for something.
In-game, its mouth is open, and it's staring at your camera with its head at an unnatural angle while twitching and jerking.

Shara Ishvalda: *Vibe check.*

If you read old pallium (gem) descriptions you can figure out it's other elder dragons
Shara is ground, zorah is mountain xeno is stars but sky/clouds, the ocean and forest are still unknown

Ok I know I'm replying to a dead comment but I just really want to point out the references in the quotes, obvious or not.
"You drive the mountains to sea" Would be you guiding Zorah Magdaros to the sea when it attempts to go into the everstream.
"You send a beast born of life to death"
Would be you killing Xeno'jiva.
"And set the frozen skies aflame" would be you killing Velhkana.
"You would claim it all to weave a glorious tapestry of life and forge an arsenal of death" Of course this is obvious as it's you making armor and weapons from the monsters you have killed.
I just really REALLY like this comment. It makes it seem like a cutscene where Shara gives this speech and it displays flashbacks of the opening/ending cutscene of the monsters referenced whenever Shara speaks about them. If monsters could talk that is.

I love that Elder Dragons all seem like some sort of natural disaster mixed with an animal and Shara is a dragon mixed with damn earthquakes
Actually what he is is a demon god gone mad mixed with earthquakes. He just happens to resemble a dragon.

Technically Shara isn’t creating ‘earthquakes’ per se, more like an over abundance of sand.

Had this on loop while fighting shara just for fun, and by some crazy coincidence the song had ended and was dying down as it began to enter second phase. I got to see the true shara ishvalda emerge from the smoke cloud just as the song started playing again. It sent shivers across my body, it was so cool. Keep making music like this my dude, all your stuff bangs.

We got Xeno and Shara, very interested to see the other 3 of the myth. I hear one might be Zora, and I guess that'd fit. But I don't know, I imagine all 5 using Xeno's skeleton/form and have wildly different move sets based on what they represent.
Hmm I would say that the 3 others from the myths will also look like things that are not from the world. Both Xeno and Shara don't really look like they naturally belong on the world, its a theme both follow but in different ways. Xeno looks like an Alien and Shara feels so fucking wrong. Its like a demon that looks into your soul. Hope to see the other 3 in future Monster Hunter games.
@@W4lhalla Yeah for sure. Won't lie though, kinda more scared of Narkarkos than I am Shara (even when eyes are opened). I don't know why, but theres just something about Cuddlefish Cthulu that unsettles me. Also I suck at his fight and it takes me 40 minutes and have Shara's cut down to around 27 minutes... Is there just some way to get him to poke out his head more often, or just wail at em? (I use Ariel, Dual Blades, Wolf's Maw 2 in Gen. In World I use Hammer mostly.)
@@hunterotte4085 break the tentacles, and the head will appear. Otherwise, just stay calm and lay on as many hits as possible - aerial DB isn't the best fit for Narkarkos, but it's very much doable.
@@sorakun445 Ok, I originally thought it had something to do with the ballisti. Not to mention I prefer a more defensive and dodgy play style. I mostly like aerial dual blades for that exact reason of adding a constant DPS. So I guess I just need to stop focusing on the ballisti, and focus on tunneling the tentacles. Thanks!

This theme Stuck to my Head, like no song ever did. I dont know what it is, but it always gives me that unexplainable feeling of...loss and final Victory over an unresistable enemy. I know it sounds weird but I dont know how else to describe it... It makes me sad and happy at the same time. When I am listening to this, I feel like I could cry like a baby and laugh at the top of my lungs equally.

This cover art shows that Shara wants nothing more than to consign you to the depths of the earth.

There are two slots I can think of, and Kulve Taroth most likely isn't in either, so don't assume she's one. I say this because she doesn't impact the ecosystem much at all. Anyways, here we have...
_One dragon sank into the sea and became the land._
_One dragon lifted its gaze to the sky and became the mountains._
The mountains could be Zorah, as it not only _is_ a mountain but can transform the land and create massive tunnels through the ground.
*So which one is Shara?*
We have Xeno, referenced here.
_The last dragon climbed far into the sky to become a star of sapphire blue, shining brightly above the island._
And I'm still waiting on the others...I'm betting they'll come.
