What kind of a bullshit comment is this? Am I not able to perceive range, intonation, and emotion just because it's in another language? The Japanese voice acting industry is far larger and more serious than it is anywhere else, and as a result they have a huge pool great voice actors.

Doesn't translating these kind of defeat the purpose (of them being from different countries). And yea I'm aware that it's translated to English too for most of the characters but at least they kept some lines in the original language (+had the accent when speaking in English).
also if ur response is hostile simply bc u r basically a weeb (which is OK on its own) who defends anything Japanese related and gets insulted when it is criticized then don't even bother. The internet has too many of u, sadly. the same applies for all the translations they made.

Some of the stuff is important to translate for gameplay reasons, like the characters calling out snipers and asking for healing and such.
Junkrat sounds fucking hilarious! O shit Genji wasn't kidding. Is there no black japanese speaker to do Lucio? McCree sounds like an anime villain or a hero. Zarya sounds like that mature captain in the anime. Mercy sounds like the white wife that's cheating on her husband in a hentai I watched. Reaper sounds like the villain when he's behind a computer talking in an anime. Reinhardt reminds me of an old guy that still likes to drink and party. Winston eh. Symmetra sounds like a prostitute in a hentai i've seen. Roadhog sounds like an executioner. Soldier 76 sounds like the mature captain of the group. Can you do a similar voice for the other languages ?It's one of the few games which has amazing and professional voice acting in French, our talents tend to go to movies and TV and only recently has video games attracted talent. In Overwatch, a lot of players play Soldier: 76 because of his voice actor who's the voice of Sangoku in Dragon Ball Z (and Angel in Buffy) for example, something that is really new.
