It’s took us around 12 hours from Om Koi district, Thailand, to transport these two elephants, “Moh Loh” and her baby, “Lek Lek”, to Elephant Nature Park. Moh Loh used to work in logging as well as any other jobs that an elephant might do. Thank you to Stews 4 Elephants (S4E Global) and Future For Elephants and other volunteers who joined to make this happen. Moh Loh was rescued in honor of Dr. Dawn Miller. The elephants really get excited when a new elephant comes. Shows they have big hearts as big as their bodies.

I’m so relieved that this Mother and daughter get to live out their years together at Elephant Nature Park. My eyes are filled with tears of happiness but I’m also sad when I think of what elephants have to endure.
I'm relieved too. All elephants deserve freedom. ENP is their true home. And an elephant sanctuary at Tennessee.
They don't Have to...it's us the human species that force animals this way.

C'est pas gagné mais il faut persévérer. Bravo et j'encourage les équipes de sauvetage, surtout les femmes qui se dévouent pour cette cause.

I know the team do everything in their power to make the elephants as comfortable as possible, but these journeys must be so awful for them; they're long & they're arduous. And the poor wee baby got travel sick as well 😢 So grateful they are now on solid ground at ENP & are safe! Thank you to everyone who contributed whether it be funding, food, driving, travel companionship etc. They look quite settled already & I hope they're starting to enjoy being at ENP 🥰🙏❤️🐘

Listening to the other elephants trumpet and rumble, letting the new mother and baby know they are now safe, is wonderful. Seeing them all gathered there to welcome them is quite touching. Elephants are amazing ❤🐘

Thank you for rescuing her and her baby. The one rhing I see the most in these elephants, besides starvation and cruelty inflicted on them by humans, is how defeated they are in spirit. Then after realizing they aren't going to be abused anymore that ENP will be their home, , their demeanor changes, and once again perhaps for the first time in their lives they are free and alive.
Why does the government allow the animals in Thialand to be used, abused, tortured from a young age, repeatedly bred, broken limps and still forced to work or give some human a ride, and never stop obvious cruelty.????
Poverty and greed and no government oversight. A dark alley would have too much light for what those miscreants deserve 😤

I was watching an interview between Jordan Perterson/Jim Caviezel/Tim Ballard, and I think it is in this interview that they discussed the notion of human beings, on a daily basic, choosing to either create heaven or hell here on earth. That when you wake up in the morning, you can decide whether you will make this world a better place for the people around you by your tiny actions. Or you will make this already suffering world a worse off place by creating hell for the people you come into contact with. And by rescuing animals, donating or volunteering in a rescuing in any form or shape, you help create heaven for some troubled soul. And the joy you get as a result is immeasurable. Just look at the face of the airline volunteer. This is what life is all about.

Thank you for doing this, ENP! These lovely elephants are going to be where they deserve to be! Since the jungles are mostly gone, under the loving care of Lek and her team after enduring all that they didn’t have to! Nobody “owns” an elephant! The elephants don’t need to have “jobs” and they shouldn’t have to like someone sitting on them just as much as any of us would like anyone sit on us! It’s unfortunate the way the guy in the intro talked about them, that they were “selling” them… but I do understand that’s the unfortunate reality which ENP is trying to end as much as possible and I support that! But I hope monetizing in these lovely beings also stops in the long run. I look forward to seeing their new life at ENP. Thank you!

With the baby being "car"sick, were the volunteers able to give her anything like ginger (anti-nausea)? Mom was so calm and supportive.

The volunteers didn’t overall seem very helpful giving out watermelon comfort to te mom and baby usually much more attention to elephants! Mom and baby were not taken care of by owners blessing to be going to elephant park .
